Here is the thing guys, we have to remember, if you fire every coach that had a decade long affair with a married woman and fricked her and ran around with her while pregnant, possibly even pregnant with your bastard children, we wouldn’t have anyone left to coach

If one or both of those kids are his, I don't think he survives this. But, not because of morals, I just think the humiliation would force him to lay low for a while.

It's a "big" story right now because there is not all that much happening in the sports calendar. The NFL is in the offseason and its biggest offseason event, the draft, is now over. College football and basketball are in the offseason. The NBA and NHL playoffs are happening, but both drag on for so long the daily intensity is not as great as with other sports. MLB hasn't gotten to the point of the season where people really start to focus in. The US World Cup is still a few months away.
This story will start to die out in a month or two. It would pick up steam again one the NFL season starts (assuming Vrabel is the NE HC) but would fade away with interest being on the other games.
Rick Pitino was having quickies with women in Italian restaurants and recruits being "recruited" by hookers. He's a prominent HC again and no one really talks about those things anymore.
