To the other lawyers on here that think that the judge was out of line for locking her up for 7 days, maybe he knew something we didn’t.
Not sure why any lawyer would think he was out of line. I assume many here have never been in a court room.

Laughing at the lawyer. Probably thought she’d get a slap on the wrist and he could take her out for drinks afterwords.
I automatically heard this tune in my head.
“Your bad practice is not my problem.”

What was this judge doing in the mud and trash behind the Swamp Chicken Daiquiris?

Three years ago, a late-night fracas landed a state judge, Steven Tureau, in the mud and trash behind Swamp Chicken Daiquiris, a Gonzales bar. Now, Tureau faces judicial misconduct charges over the incident, accused by the Louisiana Judiciary Commission of misusing the prestige of his office and conduct unbefitting a judge. Tureau, who has served since 2020 on the 23rd Judicial District Court bench in Ascension, Assumption and St. James parishes, has admitted he crossed the line in a dispute with Michelle Lee, part owner of the Swamp Chicken.

My grandfather’s dog discovered the dad’s leg bone and returned it to my grandfather.

AF and her dad were in my house when I was younger, before the murders. They were looking at an abandoned property next to our home.
I distinctly recall my dad saying she was nuts.
They bought a property two doors down from my grandparents instead.

She 100% killed her dad; no point prosecuting her for that crime, though, after her conviction.
She also buried him under the 2’ crawl space below his house. Imagine digging a hole deep enough to bury a body with 2’ clearance.

I’m going to be down there around 830-11. Several ships open for touring around Jackson square at that time.
Going to top it off at the new playground and misting machine by the wharf.
