China also has a very likely gold tomorrow in weightlifting
didn't realize they are favored in that...
it will come down to W BB and Blades

So China has nothing tomorrow?
I'm sure they have artistic ping pong step stool diving or some shite.

I mean I hope we win the overall gold count but we’ve destroyed them.
Over 30 more medals and they may end up one gold in front of us.
Big whoopie for them.

And women’s volleyball tomorrow.
I’d be plenty happy to tie with China on golds considering how many more total medals we have. We’d still top every list.

the volleyball team would essentially tie us... the W BB is what would put us over the top, for good

If only Mondo had represented the country he was born, raised, and lives in instead of one where he can’t speak the language.

Have you been whining about it since 2015 or whenever he decided to represent Sweden?

Not who you replied to, but yes, I have.
It's stupid, represent your country. He's not fricking Swedish.

He made the choice. A very long time ago. Get over it.
He’s a dual citizen from birth. He got to choose and he did. The US didn’t give him what he wanted—his dad as coach. Move on.

How long has he lived in Sweden?
Posted on 8/10/24 at 3:20 pm to TackySweater
I believe he started living part time in Sweden in his early 20s.
And said he was proud to conduct a full interview in Swedish recently.

So he’s never actually lived there aside from part time 4 years ago?
