Lane Kiffin is one of two coaches to ever have a .700 winning percentage in the history of Ole Miss football. You named your stadium after the other one. Stop being a contrarian. You know lane is the best thing that’s happened to your program in your lifetime (or since you were a child). He is now gone. Will he be highly successful at LSU? Who knows, but let’s not sit here and pretend like Ole Miss is some premier program that is capable of winning regardless of who the coach is because history proves this is not the case.

Yes these are horrible takes in hindsight, but a shite ton of stuff has happened since January of 2024.
At the time, BK had just finished his second season at LSU. In his first we won the SECW and in his second we had a Heisman QB and all time offense. We were all pissed off about the defense but really the blame went to Matt House and BK was still kind of in a honeymoon period due a miraculous coaching job in 2022.
BK completely crashed and burned in both 2024 and 2025 while Kiffin killed it in the portal x2 and put together Ole Miss’ best season in 60+ years.

We're very fortunate that we are LSU and can get the benefit of the doubt like UK or Duke would in basketball if they were having a crappy season. However, we keep pissing away games we will be left out no matter what.

I was once walking down St Charles by Sacred Heart heading to the parade route and saw a dude hop a fence and steal a leaf blower out of someone's yard. After a few hours at the parades I was walking back to my car and the same guy was soliciting the homeowner offering to do yard work with the lady's own leaf blower :lol:

Won the SEC in basketball, which is something Ole Miss has actually never done (yes I know you’ve won the SEC tournament)

The Hornets actually have a great young group that play hard and have ignited their fanbase. Anytime things were shite for us (which is usually) I could always take solace in knowing the Charlotte Bobcats/Hornets were equally as hopeless. Not anymore.

I think it's either 1986 or 2019 but I might have to give the nod to 1986. We won the conference in football and baseball and played in the Sugar Bowl, CWS, and Final 4 in MBB. Hard to top that.

I just want to make the playoffs. I would be fired up even if we went 8-9 and won the division and got to host a playoff game in the dome. The crowd would be insane.
