Which is why I really appreciate Lynn. Especially when paired with Ben Mac.

Watching games while he is doing the announcing makes me wonder how often in the past I thought a flyout was nearly a home run when it was actually short of the warning track.

Not folding it up in March like you implied you did. I talked about the radio call today to which you said why are you still listening? Cause this is still my Alma maters team, and im not gonna just turn it off and pretend they dont exist just cause the season takes a bad turn

This is one of my biggest issues... I cant tell you how many times I've been listening to radio only and heard:

THATS BACK WAAAAY BAAACKKKKK ITS CARRYINNNGGG ANNND THAT BALL ISSS... gloved by the cnter fielder for the second out.

Thats the big one but he also doesnt really respect how much there is to baseball.... at least every 30-60 seconds or so listenes should be reminded of score, count, outs and whos on base. Ive gone 5 minutes without hearing the score. He also doesnt stop for plays. He was droning on about something...I heard the crowd react over the radio and he took a good half minute to finish the sentence before getting around to telling us what happened.

Will agree professional and great voice. But calling baseball is intricate..he don't have it

This x1000.

I don't always listen to Blair, but I took my radio with me yesterday when I went out for a run. (I get from point A to point B -- it just takes a long time) Many times, Blair either doesn't describe the play as it is happening or Buzzy or whoever the color guy is has to step in and explain. I don't care how professional Blair sounds if he doesn't let you know what is going on. The annoying thing is that should be something that can be fixed.

It's the vocal equivalent of throwing a 105-mph ball 4. The voice and velocity may both be impressive but pointless if they are failing at their job.
