It could have been my mom struggled with poking her but one morning before my mom did it my dad saw the look in her eyes & said that it was enough

I’m really sorry you are going through so much at once.
We had a dog go through the same thing, they gave us the saline bags to do at home.
Honestly I think we lasted 3 or 4 days doing it, you could tell she wasn’t herself & we were just poking her to delay the inevitable.
My opinion is no, it is not worth it. It’s not worth putting her through the poking & prodding & trips back & forth to the vet to possibly give her another few weeks or months.
Again, I’m very sorry & will say a prayer for you & your family.
