Did Bill Cassidy believe that R voters would have forgotten????

I mean...he put a good amount of money into the race....and anybody reading the tea leaves knew that he was fricked.....so who told him this was a good idea???? I mean....I'm actually glad he's getting a beatdown...he deserves it. I hope it is painful.... After what he did, he deserves what he gets. (And if he actually believed Trump was guilty, he's incompetent and, again, gets what he deserves....)

I can't believe he's even getting 24-25%, but I guess it just shows that plenty of campaign funds for advertising will always sway a lot of low-information voters.

No party voters who lean Dem are trying to prop him up because the Dem candidate has no fricking shot.

No doubt lots of people that vote Dem and are not party affiliated voted for Cassidy.

You don’t just walk away from a seat in the United States Senate. You have a ton of power, lobbyists kissing your arse, able to insider trade stocks without fear of arrest…etc.

No. You fight like tooth and nail. You fight for all ten rounds. And then, if you lose, you think hard about running again as an independent.

That’s what he’s thinking about tonight: Running as a no party candidate in November.

Kind of surprised the Dems really turned out. 337K to 396K. Not a huge gap considering.
