Before you give him props, there are guys who say that every year, including the national championship years. The only negative that was obvious in preseason was that we were going to kick the ball around. It turned out that we were also going to suck at pitching and that hitting would take half the year to come around.

The “improvement” in hitting is a function of falling behind big in most games.

Opposing pitchers could just serve up BP fastball middle to avoid walks and beat us. We aren’t good at anything.

This is a good point.

Yeah, like the Miss St series? We jumped out to plenty of leads only for the pitching and defense to massively fail us. But we got drummed this weekend, so the low IQs can't see beyond that.

This is simply not true.

Really easy to spot the football fans on here.

We were leading each of the Mississippi State games. Close games in 2/3 in Ocford. We were leading in game 1 against UGA and knocked their best pitcher out of the game before he could finish 3 in game 2. 8H 4R in 5.1 against UF's best pitcher and potential 1.1 in next year's draft. In game 3 until the 9th.

This isn't football. Teams don't just let you score runs when they're winning. Every single one of those teams was trying to win and pulling no punches.

You’ll get down voted for this but there is a LOT of truth to it.

One of the best indicators of the veracity of a post or a future indicator is the number of downvotes. No problem.

I cant lie i literally predicted 11-19 after we all saw pre-season. I thought if we got lucky we could have 13/14 wins but 9?

Minus injuries he would have been spot on. Injuries made us 2-3 seed regional team to this.
