This self-righteous drivel is why we’re no longer a Christian nation, not Islam

quote:

I am. I’m spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. Until the apocalypse starts.
You’re not very convincing

Arguably counter to your stated goals

Time to give it up
quote:

It has to be eradicated
Do something about it then

Less talking, cuck
quote:

A little early to panic, but there was a reason that our founding fathers banned Muslim immigration.
:rotflmao: my sides
quote:

However, when a small population is 100% committed to something, that's often all it takes. Revolutions y usually begin with a small population of very committed people.
They’ve been this same % for a while

Maybe in your fanfiction I guess

Reality, nah
quote:

In 20 years there will be enough Muslims in America to elect the President
Muslims are presently just over 1% of the US population

You’re going to have to show some convincing math to be taken seriously
Run support capacity
Run support timing
Bullpen strength
Inherited-runner outcomes
Team defense
Quality of opposition hitters
Quality of opposition starter
Managerial decisions / pitcher usage

Pretending a metric that’s fundamentally reliant on so many external elements is an appropriate way to evaluate a pitcher is insane. It took long enough for people to realize it was not a meaningful metric. We’re not going back
quote:

great pitchers find a way if their team isn't scoring
So they have to hit too?

What about when the team’s garbage defensively, is he supposed to play multiple positions simultaneously?

I thought we were past retarded W/L takes but clearly a ways to go
The players / NFLPA will be the ones to kill this

No one will want to sign with a team across the Atlantic. Even in London it’s still a completely different culture and you don’t even have any friends nearby. You probably won’t have your family either because of how disruptive that would be to uproot kids

I can’t imagine they could even consistently field a team outside of those on drafted rookie contracts who had no choice
quote:

He controls the Strait and they are fricked.
How many days in are we

The dude’s completely useless. He’s not the leader you think he is
quote:

While we still can? What’s that mean?
As part of Walter’s majority sale to Iger/Kushner, the minority shareholders have tag-along rights that allow them to sell their holdings at the same valuation. So it gives them liquidity they otherwise wouldn’t have at arguably the best price

But there’s a short window to exercise the rights, usually less than 30 days. Hence “while we still can”
quote:

They can argue that she can decide not to sell her shares but the rest of the family is under no obligation to do the same.
She doesn’t have any shares in the Lakers. The Family Trust does, of which she has 1/6th of the voting power. She can’t just hold onto 3% of the Lakers and the other 15% exit because she doesn’t have 3% of the Lakers. And they can’t realistically structure an agreement that sells their 15% “share” of the Lakers in exchange for leaving the trust because there’s more than the Lakers in the trust

Her argument is that there are provisions in the trust documents that essentially don’t allow selling ownership lower than 15% to preserve her ability to be controlling owner. The LAT reported on it in 2017. So they’d only be able to sell 3% of the 18%. And while the sale last year included tag-along rights for the trust to get out at the same valuation, that has nothing to do with trust governance. She’s one of the 3 trustees and sale of their shares apparently must entail unanimous approval of the 3

The siblings constantly leak stuff to damage her and it’s likely they just did so to pressure her as well as to argue fiduciary duty angles that it’s in the best interest of the trust to get out at this valuation

We’ll figure out what’s true over time but it should get nice and messy. They can’t stand each other

re: Why does the WNBA still exist?

it loses a bunch of money
Over 30 NBA players individually make more in a year than the entire WNBA loses in a season

It’s not really any different than corporate charity giving, it’s closer to rounding error
Total yards is a longevity stat (see: Gore). Total TDs is longevity stat and function of your offense’s red zone scheme. Emmitt Smith might be at the top of those lists but on some really loaded years only cleared 4.3 YPC 3 times

Henry has already cleared that 7 times in 5 fewer seasons. Give me YPC as a way more relevant effectiveness metric and he (4.9) only trails a handful of greats (Brown 5.2, Sayers 5.0, Sanders 5.0) at roughly the same time (10 seasons) that they retired
quote:

Wagner was close but nobody else is right now.
Fred Warner has been the standard at ILB since Wagner. And only 1 First Team All-Pro from tying them

But used differently. Less jamming the line / pass rush and way more pass coverage with a skillset closer to a 3rd safety
quote:

I doubt we'll get another "Veilguard" style game either.
As disgraceful as a heavily levered EA will be trying to milk us for every penny, we can at least rest easy this is over

If there’s any semblance of social or political slop it’s going to lean Chudguard. PIF actually wants to make money and knows who butters their biscuits
I think if they switch teams we’re still having this debate but if there’s a ding to Willis it’s that he played on much better defenses that consistently put him in position to be as ruthless as possible

Willis was the best player on the best LB unit since the Dome Patrol. That counts for something. Add Justin Smith and that was arguably the league’s best front 7 during his prime

On the other hand, he played next to another inside LB that was a 1st team All-Pro 4x (Willis 5x) and they each feasted from the other being so damn good. You had no idea what either of them was going to do because they could both do anything at a high level, and if you neutralized one it often came at the expense of the other making a play. Navarro Bowman will never write a HoF speech but damn if he wasn’t as big a monster. Sucks injuries prematurely ended the careers of all 3
quote:

IMO it's not even close....
You can make strong arguments for both. The one argument that’s objectively wrong is that they aren’t close
quote:

What a stupid fricking bitch, not able to see her own technology replaced her.
Debatable. While some of those firms have cut certain AI roles, it’s less AI tech replacing them and more strategic pivots offsetting the insane overhiring at the height of the boom

But anyone with experience at those 3 that can’t find a job? That’s a skill issue. Corporates are still desperate to figure out how to unlock AI. There’s still tons of roles for qualified professionals in the space

Though the key word is “qualified”
