Does China have any more events that they are favored in?

Has the trampoline stuff happened yet?

Not going to lie, I hope GB comes in 3rd in the medal count just to stick it to the French.

Weightlifting hasn’t started yet and the dopers usually win quite a few in that. We definitely have a lot of golds we’re favored for still to come.

How are there so many swimming events? Where’s a list of each one?

Sure someone here really keep up with it and actually watches all the events. I see 60 swimming medals just between the top 3 in medal count USA, CHN, AUS. That’s 20 separate events already in the books right there and guessing there’s probably something like another 10 events at least between the rest of the countries that have already been completed.

37 different swimming events and all 35 pool events are complete.

The men’s and women’s 10k open water race tomorrow and Friday are all that’s left. The US has 2 swimmers in both events.

Sarah Hildebrandt
I wonder which path she'll take after she's done wrestling. Her coach is an ex-UFC fighter but UFC is under the same umbrella as WWE now. Perhaps they've soured on Olympic wrestlers after Steveson bombed. I think she'll sign with TKO and they'll decide which path is the best for her.

US women's freestyle is just murdering everyone.

Men's freestyle is legit too, but the women seem to be so far ahead of everyone else in the world.

The US is off to a great start today. Really need wrestling to step up to offset Chinese diving (since we shite the bed on the beach).

Pentathlon looks awesome. Why isn't this a more well known event? The changes they mentioned for LA sound horrible (and mainly to appease the PETA lunatics).

Paired with horses by drawing lots? I feel sorry for whoever draws a horse in a King Edward-like mood.

I watched some of this last night. I knew a little bit about the velodrome, but didn't realize all the different formats of team racing. It was pretty cool to watch and realize how fast they were pushing it for 4Km.

These bigger guys weightlifting aren't nearly as entertaining as the small chicks.

That North Korean's reaction reminded me of the classic Belushi SNL weightlifting skit.
