You can just tell that kid loves LSU. Living his dream, I’m sure

But, some jackleg poster said we should stop recruiting kids from Louisiana.

Is he going to stay at 2nd or move to SS?

Depends on portal. He’ll have a shot at SS I’m sure.

I like how the young ones have shown themselves --- seems they have been listening while the portal mishaps have been farting around

I like what I have seen from the young guys, but let's not get too far ahead of ourselves. Ruckert may be great, but he has also made 4 errors in just 38 chances, 0.866 fielding %. I think that will improve dramatically, but we do not know that.

Word is he is constantly at the facility and working his tail off. For those wondering why he is getting the opportunity and another freshman isn’t.

Great thread title.

He cost us 2 games. One of the errors he didn’t get 1 out from a possible double play. What’s important is how a young player reacts to that type of adversity. He is reacting exactly how you want him to. He is motivated to improve.

This. Kid has made some excellent plays the past few weeks in high pressure situations. When presented the opportunity, it seems he has taken it.
