Otters are water demons. The giant river otters in South America routinely eat caimans and there have been verified accounts of them killing people.
They're a cute faced killer.

We live on the river and sometimes see otters. Sitting on the porch and seeing an otter is one of the best ways to start a day at the camp.
But then again, just about any day at the camp is a good one.
