re: Just a reminder, the Falcons traded their 2026 first rd pick

and it’s the kind of trade that can set a franchise back a decade. Every NFL GM should have ‘never trade the first round pick’ tattooed on their palm. It almost never works.
Can somebody tell this to the Pelicans.

Why’re people so high on Kyle Williams? What makes him a “must keep”?
Lamar Brown, Richard Anderson, Deuce Geralds, Darryus McKinley.
If DLC Kyle Williams is not retained, you can say goodbye to at least 2 of these DL prospects that make up one of the best DL groups in the country.
He still loves LSU, and he's still my favorite LSU HC.

Keep the BIG 4
Posted by KING NOLA on 10/29/25 at 9:35 am
A message to whomever the HC will be, if you want to keep that real nice recruiting class we have and the young talent we have on the roster. Frank Wilson, Corey Raymond, Cortez Hankton and Kyle Williams are must keep on your coaching staff. Please don't start your career off as LSU HC like your predecessor, it took him a few years to get it. The BIG 4 would guarantee you a smooth transition.
Quick question and just a question?

With what Florida defense just did to Texas, does the Florida victory look a lil better than the Ole Piss loss?
Well, damn another BK hater. First of all he's the most experienced WR on Miami and he's their #1, with us was at least the third maybe forth behind TE Taylor, so kitten retract your claws.

BK hates freshman
How many freshmen have we had that was SEC ready in the Kelly era that he hated enough not to play? And by the way, there are a lot of coaches that don't play freshmen, but I don't think BK is one of them.

Remember gold metalist sprinter Michael Johnson? That's who JD5 remind me of when he's in the open field, so fluid, so smooth, like a Gazelle.
Why all the hate for OC Sloan?
Posted by KING NOLA on 9/15/25 at 1:42 pm
1st game against Clemson, Sloan called a great game against one of if not the best d-lines in the country with two projected 1st round picks. He protected a newly just put together o-line with short intermediate passes and a surprisingly effective running game, he didn't want their d-line wrecking the game. 2nd game, reason not excuses, the entire off-season was focused on going 1-0 and they did exactly that, now they went up against an inferior opponent sandwiched Clemson and Florida, getting the energy levels up for this one was extremely challenging, everybody played in deep sand. Now against Florida with basically the same game plan he had against Clemson and can anybody blame him? Do any of you remember the devastating destruction Florida d-line did to us last year? Sloan was not going to let that happen again and he called a great game compared to last year. Joe and Cortez has done a pretty good job so far, now if the offense still look the same after these next two weeks than you'll have something to bitch about, but not these last three weeks.
Choices, Choices

With Peyton Houston in the fold, which QB will be the second to commit? Elijah Haven or Nuss 2.0? And who should LSU pursue harder? A lot of people are kind of down on Haven and I don't know why, if the #1 QB in the country is in your backyard you have to do whatever it takes to keep him home, that's just my take on it.

Peyton Houston is infinitely closer to Kyler Murray right now than Haven is to Cam Newton
Comparing Elijah Haven to Cam Newton is ridiculously unfair. Elijah is a prolific passer of the football, in Cam's entire career he was never considered a prolific passer of the football. Cam was considered a unicorn because of his athletic ability at his size. Elijah will never rush the ball like Cam because he rely more on his arm than his legs.
Why is LSU #1 with all these experts after week1, except poll voters?

re: WR's talk

Have we ever had a #1 OOS WR? And yet, we've had 1st round WR's forever. I never believe Keys was an LSU WR anyway, all our top recruits were recruiting other prospects even if they were committed elsewhere, Keys didn't. When he started praising Tennessee the fricken writing was on the wall, I was just waiting on the announcement, good ridden. Our in-state kids will fare better, they're the reason LSU is WRU.

Amen, brother. No Manning will ever attend LSU!
You got that right. Archie Manning was the star at Ole Miss and he hates LSU with a passion, that's what rivals do they hate. And the Manning boys grew up with it, Archie Manning is loved in NOLA and he has a lot of love for New Orleans where he is an Icon, but has no love for Baton Rouge.

With our DC being our LB Coach, where do we stand with LB JaMichael Garrett?

Does anybody know why he posted his LSU offer? I mean there's a reason behind it and I would like to know the reason behind it. It might have been done before, but I've never seen a player committed to one school posting an offer from another school before, very interesting.
