So sick of this narrative. Why even have teams outside of NY/Cali? shite is so stupid.
As soon as the finals were set, I knew this EXACT thread would be posted.
It happens every single year if a NY or LA team isn’t in a championship game.
People are stupid. Who cares?

Some folks give me shite around here when I say this, but.... it doesn't negate my statement. We the people need to vote for better congressional representation if we want substantial and lasting change. Trumps victory has given us some breathing room and a good start, but we hold the power to change the federal government and we'd better take it seriously.
No one cares about voting other than voting for the president, which is a shame. People should take voting locally as serious as they do voting for the federal government. Local and state voting effects your life way more than the BS and non stop bickering that happens in DC.
For example. Look at the turnout for the Mayorsl race in lake Charles this past week. 14k showed up…..pitiful.

starts in travel ball. Kids in kid pitch wear ankle and elbow pads because it looks cool.
No it wasn’t. It started in MLB. I don’t remember exactly who it was, but there was a few finger injuries close to each other. Their fingers got caught on the bag and bent them back and sprained or broke them. So these stupid arse oven mitts started popping it and as with everything that’s trendy, this useless piece of garbage was being used from MLB down to 9 year olds.
So little Johnny, you don’t run the bases fast enough to cause enough force on your finger to break it when you slide into a bag to justify wearing that idiotic fricking things.
As much as this board hates tourney ball, I’ll defend it. 98% of it is harmless and it’s just something fat parents of kids that aren’t very good like to come here and whine about. But I will NEVER defend that retarded looking shite.

Character matters.
re: Sanders will be available at #40 do we take him?

I suppose at least it’s not Milroe

Just wanted to post who I find Sheduer most comparable to…

I’ve ALWAYS said it wouldn’t hurt my feelings that he walked. Been a couple years now that I’ve been saying the same thing.
I know I’m in the minority, but I can’t stand his body language playing the game.
No emotion. Aloof. Facial expressions screams to me that he doesn’t care. Never seems to be putting out 100%.
Sure, he’s good. But I’ve complained about him for a few years now. Have fun with watching that dispassionate, apathetic, joyless zombie and especially when September and October rolls around.

Buyouts should be administered across the board.
re: Kash Patel Already Disappointing

I always get a kick out of posts like these “So-and-so isn’t doing their job, and I’m disappointed! as if any of us actually know what that job really involves.
In reality, we probably see about 0.01% of what the role entails, filtered through the media.
None of us truly understand what goes into being the head of the FBI, not even close. We’re talking about a position that likely involves thousands of procedures, endless administrative work, high-level meetings, court proceedings, and layers of responsibilities most of us couldn’t even name.
Let’s be real: not one of us…. especially the folks throwing around comments like “he’s not doing a great job”…would last a week in that seat.

I just don’t understand how everyone can see that this guy is not a QB except NFL GMs. Mind boggling to me. Hes going to go the same route as Anthony Richardson.
Get paid by a dumb arse organization and be out the door in a year.
Hey, at least he gets paid, I suppose.

I’d take Shaq and Hakeem 100/100 times over Jokic
I’d take Jokic as a 3 100/100 times over Shaq and Hakeem though

Puppy issue question
Posted by Prominentwon on 4/2/25 at 10:48 am
So I have a new dog, he’s a little less than a year old now. I’ve got an issue I can’t seem to resolve.
He licks my older dog whenever no one is around. And mainly around his ears. It’s already cost me money to bring my older dog to get his ears cleaned due to yeast build up because of the moisture build up. At least that’s what the vet told me. Every time I catch him, he’s redirected. But he still does it when I’m not around. He knows not to do it because when I come in the room, he takes off and my older dogs general area around his ears are wet.
Anyone ever have to deal with this? I want to go the bitter spray route but I’m not sure if that’s good for my older dog.
Any suggestions/experience?

Yep. And anyone that wants to blame anyone about “not putting in work” or “letting an instate kid go” would be doing back flips if LSU landed a 5* kid from another state.
