It’s not really a victory for anyone. Even hardcore MAGA dues see it as flimsy lawfare.

It’s more a sign of pressing and weakness than anything else.

About 8 months left of having majority in both chambers and without the relentless onslaught on a guy who is clearly mentally deteriorating. Trump is in Biden territory at this point in incomprehension, incogent thoughts, etc. He has incompetents running the Departments, and they are getting flayed at every turn because they simply are not very good at what they do.

Let's not also forget the legions of "86 46" gear that was floating around out there just a few short years ago.

Don't recall too many indictments or prosecutions around that merchandise.

Wait til you see what they try to get Brennan on down in Florida.

I asked this question in another thread, but what/who is the biggest scalp on the wall from this DOJ? Not an indictment, an actual conviction that’s been upheld in the appellate courts… I’m drawing a blank?

It's been less than a year of them cleaning out as many of the bad apples that they can find. That takes up 3/4 of the time

So no, major scalps? Nothing.

However, Brennan will be the biggest when he gets indicted on multiple crimes.

I don't particularly care for the Comey indictment today. Hope it takes a long time and he is busy with other indictments out of Florida

While it may be a broken law, especially with the SC court case out in 1969?...it's low hanging fruit and the left will use it to turn him into a victim. I believe he's already released a video proclaiming he's a target of unjust retribution

He posted a stupid IG video that he clearly knew was inciting. That's why he deleted it. I'd much prefer they focus on his real bad actions

However, I did see someone compare it to what they did to Flynn. Turnabout? Fine...

But they better have him by the balls in Florida

Is it just a way to punish him with legal fees?
And the indignity of getting arrested, just like they did to Trump.
