Ricken is a true freshman. This is why he is pitching midweek. There is a lot of upside; we just need to develop him.

what you mean walking both leadoff hitters in each of the first two inning.....both scored, and hit 3 batters in 2 innings. Do you think that is not normal in college baseball at any level?

Schmidt was pretty bad last year as a freshman

Did you watch Anderson pitch in sec games as a freshman, he kinda improved his sophomore year

Schmidt was 7-0 as a freshman. Had a couple of bad outings in SEC.
