Texas is selling the Texas business and wealth network. Their business reach after football is far greater than nearly anyone can match.

I feel like a lot of kids fall into this trap when going to wealthy out of state schools, when in reality that "business network" ain't going to give a frick about you if you're not one of the best players and definitely not once you leave Texas. LSU will always have a place for Easton even if he didn't live up to the hype.
O went 5-1 against A&M lolol

4-2 if you want to count the 7 OT game stolen by the refs.

Their delusions. Reality is a hard pill to swallow for a lot of people.
I watched Levinson's interview with NYT that dropped with the episode. Very insightful.

Also it might surprise you that he sounds pretty based and definitely against cancel culture. They asked him about the backlash about the Nazi's saying the N word and he talked about the dangers of whitewashing real life to try and spread a non-realistic view of the world.

Also said he loved working with Sydney Sweeney and that she was very professional.
Nice of Tony to include the "kill" dog whistle for the more radical militant types of his party. Psychopath.

I'm so sick of how reliant we are on projections these days, which has run rampant in social media culture

Huh? I don't think anyone is using how much money something may or may not make as the decider on whether or not they're going to see something.

obsessing over Ole Miss

People laughing at the court jester is not obsessing
Obviously we want him, but I think Lane has been clear about his strategy when it comes to paying or overpaying high school players. If they don't think he's going to contribute day 1, they're not going to blow the budget on him for him to come sit for a year then leave.
Remember when OM fans said it was Lane keeping this stirred up and they were so happy they had Pete who didn't care about any of this

The 'he-him' thing was overblown.
I think it could have been a funny gag in the movie, but out of context and front and center in the trailer was dumb. Just asking for people to clip it and tune out.

Well, some of us are able to listen to other points of view without a knee jerk reaction.
it's not a knee jerk reaction. Some hospitals in Gaza are at least connected with terrorism in some way, if not outright participating in it.

Palestinian terrorists’ use of hospitals in Gaza is well documented. In November 2023, a Hamas commander held Gazans hostage at the Rantisi Hospital in northern Gaza. The New York Times concluded that Hamas used Shifa Hospital to store weapons and had a tunnel beneath the medical compound. A January 2024 report corroborated this report, citing American intelligence assessments that the U.S. was “confident” that Gazan terrorists had been using Shifa Hospital as a command and control hub, and a location to hold Israeli hostages.
quote:

One man told The Wall Street Journal that a Hamas patrol had seized him off the street and held him in the orthopedics department of the hospital. Another said that Hamas had detained him inside the hospital for 12 hours.

quote:

Hamas’s exploitation of Gaza hospitals for military purposes is systematic and has been reported by the international media, including The Washington Post and The Wall Street Journal.[2] Dutch journalist Jan Franke recounted from his own experience in 2014 that he personally saw fighters at Al-Shifa Hospital and that “Everyone in Gaza including UN staff knows about the dual use of these facilities.”[3] In addition, former USAID Gaza Director Dave Harden has stated that “it was broadly suspected/understood as far back as 2014 that Hamas used the Al-Shifa Hospital complex as a command center and base for operations.”[4]

The evidence that Hamas exploited Gaza hospitals and other medical facilities for military purposes during the October 7th war is overwhelming and highly incriminating. The IDF has documented such use in the Al-Quds Hospital, Indonesian Hospital, Rantisi Hospital, Sheikh Hamad Hospital, Kamal Adwan Hospital, Nasser Hospital, and most notoriously, the Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City.[5]

Any of the Bama games since Saban has been back have been astronomical with the exception of the years that LSU is awful.

I wouldn't put another Star Wars anything in a movie theater for the rest of time. The audience these movies are intended for will never be happy with anything

There's about 1,000 nautical miles between the best and worst Star Wars projects. Plenty of room for good projects that people generally don't hate. Disney (and LucasFilm) have made DEI and mass appeal their main objective over good stories and the product has suffered greatly because of it.

my biggest complaint overall is how many storylines were just tossed aside over all three seasons Remember when Nate loved Jules bc he was affected by his dad’s videos? I get that there were personal issues & a dying actor, but damn I think it’s weird they just dropped that
I think it was a situation where in order to get all the now big name actors back, Levinson had to make story sacrifices and keep everyone happy. I'm sure he thought it was better to have everyone back and write around the personal issues than not have a season 3 at all.

As far as the open-ended story threads, I got the sense this season that it was originally written to continue on, and at some point they decided to make this the final season. Then they had to edit the existing script to close some of the bigger storylines. The Rue and Alamo deaths definitely seemed rushed.
Why is Ole Miss entire identity as a fanbase being petty and annoying about other fanbases? Don't yall have anything you like about your own university?

The season was basically a white hats vs black hats western and the final scene sent the show off like I was watching an old western. It's not really how I pictured it ending but I liked it.

Not everything Levinson did on this show worked, but I'll hand it to him, he wasn't afraid to take risks, and there were parts of Euphoria that were pure genius.

I also enjoyed the love letters to classic Hollywood, TV, and cinema.

Not many shows could completely flip the script visually between seasons and still make a watchable product. Westworld tried going from western to sci-fi and completely blew it.

Obsession is real folks

If you're on Twitter, you see just how deep the obsession goes. Never seen a more insecure fanbase. No exaggeration.
