100% agree. Vernon is a super good dude. To run sub 43.5 at age 32 is amazing. Awesome that Coach Whit saw his potential in high school.

Arkansas has a lot of medalists that graduated. Coach, and/or currently train at the facility.

Honestly had no idea all these folks were in the Fayetteville area.

I ran for mark millet after he left MC. He would pop up in our team area from time to time to visit with him so I got to hang out with him some before he started college. When I ran at Monroe we’d usually end up at a meet or two together with each other every year and he’d always sit and chat for a bit. You’d never know he was as good as he is if you didn’t know better. Super humble.
