I like how we're all to just assume LSU is gonna be super loaded and win in Omaha next year because of something that's happened a whopping grand total of 2 times.

2024 was a down year that didn't result in a deep postseason run. I don't know what the frick this year is.

To compare this season to our 2024 team is as dishonest as saying our 2018 football team was just as bad as our 2020 football team because both didn't make the playoffs.

No, it's something that's happened 100% of the time following a non CWS season under the current coaching staff. Saying "oh it's only happened 2 times" is just as dishonest as comparing this season to 2024 - something that I did not do. If you want to really get into the weeds, this season is very similar to 2024, except this team lost its best arm, its best player, is now down its second best arm, and has lost every close game its played.

Sure didn't take long to throw Jay to the Dogs!!
