Bet you said this about Lane too when he wasn't announced on your preferred timeline
I mean both wilson Alexander and Matt zenitz have reported it in a way where it was almost done

Even footballscoop said our side still felt good
quote:

Monday afternoon, sources tell FootballScoop Lane Kiffin remains confident Elijah will sign his contract; however at least one new suitor and perhaps two have emerged sources share.

Sources tell FootballScoop Matt Rhule has made a meaningful offer to have Robinson help anchor Nebraska’s defensive staff, and Robinson has taken time to evaluate that option. Additionally, with Matt Campbell getting the Penn State job, several in the profession believe Penn State has reached out to gauge Robinson's interest.
It's definitely copium. Leavitt was an expected first rounder pre-surgery
The timeline for a Lisfranc when he had the surgery would put him on track to return in late May/early June
quote:

Sources around the program, and those outside of Baton Rouge, have made it clear that LSU could add a big-time transfer in former Arizona State quarterback Sam Leavitt.

A lot of smoke here

Wilson Alexander reported yesterday morning that "a deal was expected to come together" which is how these things are usually reported right before an announcement
He said its not leavitt and the Cal QB is staying
Unlucky said we're going after Chambliss and a west coast guy.

After looking around, I decided to look into Washington QB Demond Williams Jr, and come to find out he was committed to Lane at Ole Miss a few years back.

Bama isnt hiring him or moving on from KD lol
I think McGuire is a solid coach who is mainly a product of the TTU boosters. Going to Texas where the boosters are notoriously meddlesome wouldn't be the best idea
I appreciate him for filling in for a year, but I'm excited to get E-Rob. He's pretty much unanimously considered to be a top 5 DL coach in CFB
The last time we hired someone at ST just to have them on staff, we muffed multiple punts and had a horrible unit in 2022
The entire staff is expected to remain intact besides Kyle Williams, who is expected to resign.

He likely gets replaced with Elijah Robinson
