8.3 million over the cap. Shouldn't be too difficult to get under and have some money for free agency
He's about to turn 32 and is coming off a season in which he played 4 games due to injury

What could go wrong?
It's really a matter of fit.

He did much better before they hired Coen.

He's a good fit for what we need at the position and he's very young. Still has 2026 and 2027 on his contract, along with the option for 2028

If the price isnt too steep, this could make sense and it'd free up the first 2 picks in the draft to go with other positions
I'm kinda curious if this is a bad sign for us and DD. I'd much rather keep him, but maybe they're not willing to meet his price
I really hate the idea of LB and TE being our first two picks
It's dead right now, but all it would take to be resurrected is change.

It's hopeless now, but change would change that
5-24 in the last 29 SEC games
7-40 in SEC play (excluding the anomaly 9-9 season)
16-49 even WITH that season...

I don't care that he's a "nice guy." I wanted him to work here, and he just hasn't and won't. It's beyond time for change.
At this point, the answer is just change in general.

They need to hire someone good, but just making a change would build a lot of hype and probably fill the stands again. McMahon's teams are really bad but they can't keep fans in the stands because of how HOPELESSLY bad they are
Players can still sign whenever they want, but LSU's deadline to enroll is Thursday. The class will have to be finished by then
Maryland guy is 100% a starter, Baylor guy is a swing depth guy

RPM Alert - Baylor OL Sean Thompkins

3.

He said he wanted to come in and develop. He's fine with LSU adding Leavitt and potentially Longstreet.

Turned down a few lower level teams where he could've started.
He declined Tennessee's final offer.
