Is Loomis just hoping to force Carr into retirement?

Will this be the worst oline we have ever fielded? I liked the Carr signing at first, but after seeing him hold the ball for eons then get frustrated like a 4 year old, I no longer know what to think. I hope I’m wrong, but if the line hasn’t improved, I don’t see him playing more than 9 games th...

Yep. That’s my point. Putting on muscle mass would not change his shot. With the current talent we have, Trey could help us with added strength....

You might be right. I know football is a different type of athleticism, but those guys adjust their bodies regularly. Trey has a big frame and could benefit by adding some thickness. I would trade a little bit of his spring for a little more ability to compete in the post....

You may be right…I’ve seen plenty players continue to evolve their bodies to suit their game though. Especially as they got into their mid to later 20s....

I’ll feel a lot better about the lineup if Jones is in it. The pitching staff has options….but like last year we will need to see it in SEC play to really know what we have....

I know he is a shooter, I like his length and his fire. He is already a huge threat in transition…. but if his body fills out, could he play underneath at a high level as well?...

It is time to change commitments to legally bounded contracts. Forget signing periods. Forget NSD. When a school and a player agree to terms. Sign it and hold each end accountable to its completion. Let the players work deals until both parties are satisfied and let contract law take care of the...
