Nice. I didn’t get a balcony but for 60$ more got a 300+ square foot interior room. Pretty excited about the extra space
It would take another couple or three seasons like this one for his seat to warm up. We know he’s got the goods. Just a terrible year. He’ll be back. Now if he gets lazy (he won’t) and goes on autopilot like PM did then he would get the same treatment.
Thanks. I always thought Belize was like a crazy beautiful beach place but had never been. Thanks for the heads up and feedback. Excited to try MSC. That ship looks REALLY nice.
They embarrassed the program. Good riddance

I’ll be there from June 1-6. We tubing comal. Schlitterbahn day and seaworld day. Bringing little kids . Excited for the time off work.
Ended up choosing seascape for the giant interior room but curious what’s wrong with Belize. Genuinely asking I’ve never been
Thanks. It’s been an extremely tough call but I’ve settled on the seascape with MSc. Kinda eager to try a new cruise line for once and it appears to be an awesome ship. What pushed it over the top for me was that for just a 60$ up charge from a basic interior room I upgraded to one of two on the whole ship’s premium interior rooms which has 305 square feet. That’s pretty giant for a cruise ship room at that price point. I did my research and find it strange that there are literally only two on the entire ship on deck 10
I just did some more looking and it appears carnival has another ship outta Galveston called the breeze that does a 7 day for around same price point with the added stop of Belize. Would adding a day and Belize to the trip warrant a ship downgrade in yalls opinion. I’ve read the breeze is great but I’m aware it’s prob a lot less cool than the jubilee.
Nice. I’ve heard that’s a solid upgrade. How was the ship ? The crowd ?
Thank you. I’d it true that the included food on seascape is not that great. I really love the look of that ship and I’m so torn bc seascape is a couple hundred bucks cheaper now and it’s a 7 day vs a 6 on the jubilee.

The jubilee just looks like such an incredible ship though. Not sure if so much so for one less day and 3-500 more bucks
Thank you. I am gathering the food situation on carnival is definitely superior. I cruised to the Bahamas on the dream and thought it was a cool ship. The jubilee looks to be one of the best ships in carnivals fleet.

This. Now whether or not you missed the boat on getting face value through an official ticket office is one thing. SeatGeek , stubhub , vivid seats is always ready to bend you over on fees.

Carnival Jubilee or MSC Seascape

Posted by jkylejohnson on 5/17/26 at 5:05 pm
Other than Scotland next summer Mrs jkyle and I are looking at taking my 8 year old on a cruise since he loves them and he’s not going on our trip to Scotland. I’m looking at a June 2027 cruise outta Galveston. Looking like 2300-2700ish (total for all 3) bucks between the two I’m looking at

MSC seascape -7 day - costa maya , Roatán, Cozumel

Carnival jubilee-6 day - Cozumel and roatan.

I’ve cruised carnival twice and didn’t find it bad at all with the riff raff going outta Galveston. Never cruised with anyone else. Not a fan of cruises but this is for the little guy and I’m trying to choose between these two.

Any help or feedback would be much appreciated. Hope everyone is having a great weekend and happy travels:cheers:

* I don’t drink so drink packages aren’t of any interest to me and also don’t think we will be looking at excursions except perhaps a snorkel in roatan

* I’ve also researched the ships a little and both look to be very large ships. The jubilee is one of the top ranked carnival ships with a coaster and tons of water slides
Download the all trails app and look up some good hikes like you have plan. I highly recommend the north face trail over in nearby murren. It was probably my favorite hike ever. Google Grindelwald First. They have a really cool cliff walk. You take a gondola up and can either hike down, Do gliders, or Ride these really cool trikes down. It’s a blast with breathtaking views all the way down. I’d try to choose my day and time wisely as it can get very busy.

Also look into Jungfraujoch (Top of Europe) nearby. It’s a little pricey but worth it.
I would say def spend a few days in the jungfrau region. Lauterbrunnen , Grindelwald , wengen , & Murren is a must imo.

Thanks for the. Info. I think I’m gonna spring for a private tour. For the four of us it’s around 900 vs the small group tour that covered most of the places I wanted that was around 700. Sounds like you’re having a blast. Keep the info coming and have a great time
Man he could be Jamarr Chase good. Would be a HUGE flip if we could get him back in P&G

I’m all for positivity but you got the Sunshinesoaker 10,000 out for this post. Unless you’ve got the ceiling and floor confused then I agree. We won 6 games last year. 11 is possible but a lot of things will need to go our way to pump out 11 wins. That’s a tall order for most teams in the league.

Thank you all so much for the great info and advice. I def have added some new stuff to fill out this itinerary. Travel board once again proves why it’s the best board on TD.
