I heard something came out today on him possibly needing another surgery. Could be someone trying to get him to falll to them. I haven’t looked at him much to be fair but I’ve heard really great things.

Rams prob the best suitor bc they are already a great team and from many accounts REALLY wanna lock down a good receiver. I think they’d be willing

Idk man I think if Bailey and Reese don’t round out the top 3 it’s really gonna throw a wrench in teams plans but I just can’t see either falling that far.

Yep. All of that. The saints may throw us all a curveball and take fano or mauigoa. I really hope not and don’t see it but they’ve definitely made me go WTF in the first round a bunch of times.

Yeah I hear that. My main wishes are that we don’t trade up and don’t take Bain. If none of those happen and we don’t make a completely retarded pick at 8 I’m good.

Man it looks even worse when they’re all written down.

How hard would this board melt if the saints traded up to 3 and took Love.

We have looked at all the mocks. We have argued endlessly about ppl who willl never know our names. It is finally upon us gentleman.
I personally have changed my mind multiple times about which direction I hope the saints go. I think I’ve finally settled on hoping for Mansoor Delane or one of the top 3 receivers . I like Tyson the best but would be more than cool with Lemon or Tate. Tate is prob my least favorite of the 3 bc I kinda fear he benefited big time from being on the same team with a generational wr talent like J Smith and that he probably faced the lesser talented corners on most teams in most games. I don’t know that to be true and maybe he turns out to be the best in this class but just giving my reason as to why I like the other guys more. M Delane feels like a safe pick. Lockdown corner with blazing speed that plays well in both man and zone coverages. Fills a need and immediately makes our defense better. All of my hopes come for premium $$ position which helps the cap in coming years. Not that anyone asked but that’s where I am as of the beginning of draft week.
Call your shot now.
I’m thinking it’s either Tyson or Bain. Really hoping it’s not Bain and I’m sorry if I offended his agents that frequent this board.
Who is your prediction ? Wish list ?

Yeah the leavitt highlights were more like Tyson highlights. Hes so smooth in his route running. I’d like him to be more of a burner but I still think he is gonna be a great pro.

Same. I freaking love the nfl draft. I will say though that going to an nfl draft wasn’t nearly as cool as I thought it would be. I went to the draft in Vegas when we took Olave and penning and holy crap standing shoulder to shoulder with a bunch of drunk neck beards in the Vegas heat with the insane amount of down time between picks was a dud lol.

I think there’s a bigger drop off at WR between Tate, Lemon and Tyson and what would be available at 42. I’m not sold on Chris Bell, Brazzell, etc.
Glad I’m not alone on this way of thinking.
Let’s lock down another rockstar at wr and then figure out the rest. I like the thought of having another star wr on the team to have a little leverage when it comes contract talks time with Olave. But mostly to give defenses a lot more to worry about. I want an offense that consistently moves the chains and to not feel like we’re cooked if we fall in a 10 or 13-0 hole to start a game.

I hope it’s one of the big 3 at 8. I’d go lemon. Then Tyson. Then Tate but I’d be very happy with any of them. I’ve kinda decided at this point that I want wr at 8 or Delane. That’s my wish list.

Maybe. Hence the concern. I take the risk with the pick. Or take lemon. But I’m not that “bothered” by it. I’m just making a point that “some concern “ is warranted. You disagree. We agree to disagree. Or I do at least. Carry on.

Okay fella. Being injured often and being oft injured mean literally the same thing. Has he not often been injured ?
The answer is 1000% yes. I’m not calling him injury prone. It’s less bothersome than one being injury prone but still cause for SOME concern. Go argue with a wall

Bc he is extremely “oft injured “. Separate injuries or not they’re still injuries. Multiple injuries throughout his career significantly reducing his playing time. I don’t know any other way to put it. I get what you’re saying but to not have SOME concern is wild. Every scout in the league has concerns with Tyson due to him always having an injury. No matter how you wanna look at it or frame it the baw is injured a lot and ppl have noticed. I’d take the risk even at 8 but I could totally see why he’d tumble also.
And to be clear I’m fine (happy even ) to take Tyson at 8. I love the kid and he has insane upside. He’s better than Chris Olave from day 1 imo

Yeah “no concerns “ is a bit strange. I’m desperately wanting a wr and even I can’t overlook the fact that he’s been hurt A LOT and that gives me some pause. If someone does draft Tyson and he remains healthy then they are likely getting one of the best values in the entire draft. (Dependent on where he’s taken obviously). I have a feeling he ends up tumbling but I wouldn’t melt if the Saints grabbed him at 8. But I think everyone paying attention def has plenty of concerns.
