Yeskie deserves a lot of blame for the awful pitching this year. He also deserves more credit than any other coach for last year championship with the way his staff pitched in Omaha

If you haven’t noticed LSU has been firing people left and right lately (Woody, BK, McMahon, Tate, etc).

They fired Woodward because he fricked up the football and basketball hires.

They fired BK because it was clear he was not the right guy to lead the program to a title.

They fired McMahon because he was the worst coach in school history.

Landry pushed Tate out because he's a generally stupid person.

Jay Johnson is light years better than all mentioned above. You don't win 2 titles in 3 years, have 2 down years (which he won't) and fire him. Your brain can't comprehend that those are different situations because you have no object permanence.

Nobody is calling for JJs head today,
You are proactively calling for him to be fired if he has a down year next year. It's the same thing. You have made up your mind that he needs to go. Otherwise, you wouldn't be saying this shite.

I haven’t made up my mind he needs to go at all, just stating the terms he has to meet to remain employed.

JJ knew what he signed up for here and knows what is unacceptable. He built tons of good will which is why he gets every opportunity and likely a huge NIL budget to turn it quickly. Let’s hope he’s successful.

You have, and your terms mean nothing at all, because you are an overreactive no body.

Unfortunately, our governor is also an overreactive retard with low level yes men surrounding him. So, because he has no idea how things work, he could demand Jay be fired if we had a bad year next year.

If our actual university leadership is as good as I believe it is, nothing he could do next year would get him fired.

He knows this year is unacceptable, correct. Everyone with sense also knows that you get leeway when you establish yourself as a potential all time great coach who builds programs and wins everywhere he goes.

I'm being an a-hole because this season is frustrating. This game is frustrating. I lose patience when people just yell and scream about firing everyone at all times.

Are you aware we're down 2 pitchers and 10-14 innings this weekend?
How many innings would the bullpen have pitched this weekend? Schmidt only went 4 I believe.

Sheerin has been great the past few weekends, and terrible this weekend. Is that Yeskie’s fault too?

JJ has said he’s the best college pitching coach in the country. Just saying.
