Is that a good thing or a bad thing?
I’m not a jackass who thinks we need to fire a 2x national champ coach

Come on. We have Jake Brown, Evans, Moore, Stanfield, Pearson injured. And that’s just what I can think of without looking.

Okay, but we sucked before Evans, Stanfield, Brown or Pearson were injured.

You want to fire the pitching coach that coaches the team with the most strikeouts three years running?

I don't give a shite about last year

So you'd rather bitch about this year, than enjoy last year?

So in the end, what are you bitching about if you can't enjoy the championships?

It's funny how fans always leap to "fire the coach" when a team performs badly.

It's doubly hilarious when it's coaches who have as many skins on the wall as our current baseball staff.

Jump and Holman were elite.

Both were very good. But I would reserve the word elite for Skenes and Anderson types that at times could be unhittable.

You can forget Jay ever firing Josh Jordan. Jay has stated many times that Jordan is the one man that can outwork Jay himself.

Yeskie, 2 nattys and 4 different schools went to Omaha. That’s pretty good

Jordan, multiple top 5 recruiting classes. 2 national titles. 30+ kids drafted and recruited to and from LSU

Didn't we win a natty last year? I think that is right.

Kade Anderson has been a stud pitcher since he was 9 years old. And was a commit to LSU before Jay was here.

Anderson and Eyanson had to pitch at least 7 innings every outing because there were so few dependable arms in the bullpen.

So you going to fire the best pitching coach in the country and throw away everything he has done in the past for one season?

The other best is now with the SF Giants.

But some of the best are HCs now, Ostrander and Checketts.

Obviously there are a lot of good ones out there, with different focuses. The Texas guy really focuses on maximizing velo.

But Yeskie has been as successful as anyone in developing pitchers.

ETA: I think one to watch out for that's young and up and coming is the guy at Northwestern State.

TBH I don't think any staff member is safe at this point.
