Croatia....as others have said, you have too much on your itinerary.

In Croatia, Dubrovnik (stay within the walls of the old town. You can rent a Sobe (apt) cheap.Tourist mob the old town during the day but at night the buses roll outta town so there are a lot less people).
and Split (Diacletian's palace (sp)).
Zagreb is nice but not as nice as the other 2 unless you are looking for some serious partying.. Also, you have to spend a night in Plitviche National Park. LINK There isnt much there but the park and a couple of restaurants. But one restaurant is a sorta croat bbq place with a fire pit in the middle of the room.
By bus is pretty much the main way to get around croatia unless you rent a car. The buses are nice but there is are lot of winding, mountainous roads.

Hey man, how's it going?

It was neat. It is a bit different from Barcelona ie it is "real Spain." I'd imagine making your way from Sevilla to Grenada towards the coast would be a great trip. Was beautiful from the air and so is the city.

As I mentioned, being the holiday Sevilla was a lot slower than Barcelona, so that affects my impression a bit. I'm a bit antsy when I run out of things to do. The cathedral is rather impressive, along with Plaza Espana.

shite, he could spend 2 weeks just going Italy.

Yeah, I've done the "try to hit as many cities as you can in 3 weeks" trip in Europe and it was fun, but I only stayed like 3 days max in each location. By the end of that trip I was so stressed out, it didn't feel like I was on vacation anymore.

I've also done 2 cities in a week and a half in Spain, and that was a much more rewarding trip. He definitely needs to tone down that itinerary. Staying in each place for "one day", is he accounting for travel time??? Some of the distances he is talking about covering will take entire days. He'll be spending 50% of the trip on a train or bus. Sounds like a pretty awful vacation to me.

This may be a weird question but are there parks to play soccer in Croatia( im sure they are everywhere in Italy and Spain)? Im looking at playing soccer in every country, its sort of my collecting shot glasses thing.

Since im over there I thought id visit my friend but Germany is low on the list. Croatia and Italy are top and my sister will be in Spain(Madrid) so I thought id visit.

Then do Croatia and Italy and end in Spain. Spend maybe a day in Germany and Prague.

If you aren't going back to Europe for a very long time, over a decade or something, then I can relate to the logic of hitting a bunch of places.

If you plan on going once every 3-5 years or something, you're much better going slower.

I'd imagine what happens to the latter person is they say, "I've been there, done that" when they really haven't.

Furthermore, the world is just huge, so unless you plan on quitting your job and traveling on $50 a day, you just aren't going to see all of it for a long time.

And by Spain you mean Madrid only then that would be a good idea.

yup..there's no way to experience it all..just have to pick and choose what you want to see. Even career world travelers have to skip some places.

Two weeks? I've spent two months and not been to that many places. Slow your roll. You're not going to see or experience anything at that pace.

Yea, I saw a few. But more often I would see kids kicking balls around on the pavement. And all the beaches had pickup games going.

In the cities, everyone under 70 speaks at least some English.
