It's truly sad what's happened to our program and this baseball rivalry. We cannot compete with 11.7 scholarships anymore.

My first advice to Gerry DiNardo was if you are up 60-0 on Tulane, go for two. I got a puzzled look. So I got him a copy of The Fighting Tigers. He went through and yellow highlighted it, so he got it!!!

An old time Tiger who would calmly antagonize our opponents by repeating one phrase over and over, just by himself.

For the record, in 1965 Cholly Mac went for 2 with the score 60-0. We didn’t make it but Tulane was offsides; we made it on the second attempt. They got a new coach and left the SEC shortly thereafter by the way.
