He also stated there was only about 10% of guys in the transfer portal who were good enough to be on his team. Considering there aren't a lot of transfer portal guys left and that we have 1 guy committed, it assuredly means that we are running out a roster of overseas pros next year.
Assuming he follows through on the fact that his roster is mostly filled out and with him also stating we should be a top 15 team, this is going to be unusual yet fun season.

It appears Wade has basically said, "if college basketball players are effectively going to be 'pros' anyway, then lets just go out and get some actual pros." In age where guys are essentially one year mercenaries anyway, international players may be better suited to quickly assimilate and thrive in in a one-year-team situation. That's not all that uncommon in international basketball.

I think he's talking about the two older gentlemen on either side of Will. Not sure exactly but would presume boosters.

Just like a couple people kept repeating that there are over 2000 kids in the portal.
That doesn't mean shite if they aren't good enough to play in the sec. Wade came out and said that himself.

I'm 100% for only PAYING 8-9 players, but I think he should definitely fill out the roster with some walkons or get some warm bodies. What happens if we have an 8-9 man roster and we have a rash of injuries?
