Elite five-star tight end Ahmad Hudson announced his commitment to LSU on Saturday.

Hudson, a 6-7, 239-pound prospect from Ruston, La, is rated the No. 1 tight end in the country and the No. 11 overall player for the class of 2027, according to 247Sports.

He chose the Tigers over Texas A&M, Miami, Nebraska, USC, and Missouri.

Hudson originally received his offer from LSU in 2023, heading into his freshman season. The offer was given out by JR Belton, who at the time was LSU's Director of Recruiting. Belton was just recently promoted to Assistant General Manager by Lane Kiffin in January.

Hudson also excels on the hardwood and received an LSU basketball offer from Will Wade last month.

Put on a show with Green this season to highlight the tight end position and further lock him in.

Green doest need help putting on a show. He's gonna be an All American and the first TE taken in the draft next year.

You don't know how close Nebraska was from his commitment? This wasn't a cake walk Lane & Company put in that work, kept their foot on the gas and won this commitment. And also, two of Louisiana top recruits are committed OOS and another is a heavy lean (maybe committed) to A&M so it's really not par for the course.
