Met a guy once who was a professional trapper out of Mississippi. Claimed he had trapped several a few years back.
Said the field trial set would pay top dollar for the black ones because they were easier to see during the field trials.
He said some he trapped were pretty sickly. He’d shoot them up with ivermectin to kill the mange or whatever other parasites they had and if they survived the treatment, he made good money on them.

Mom had a stroke back in 2023, had to move in with me and my wife because of progressing dementia. It was fine at first, I could go about my day, run to the post office, dry cleaners, etc. mid morning and then be back for lunch time with mom.
Then, her dementia reached the point where she couldn’t be left alone. Things got tougher. Had to hire sitters to stay with her if we needed to go out of town for anything. Finally hired someone to sit with her three days a week, so I could help my wife with her business.
This lasted three years, until mom passed last month. Didn’t think I’d miss her because I had to put my life on hold for awhile but I do miss her. Just lucky I was retired from my paying job when this all happened.

Got to ride the elevator down with Mr. Rollins Sunday afternoon. He said tonight will be his last LSU broadcast of the year.

For the first half, the alumni band sat in with the Tiger band. They sounded really good together. Volume was better, obviously with more band members.

I only made note of the horrible trap music before the game, during warmups, with the indecipherable mumbled lyrics.

My ‘99 Kenmore quit working around Christmas. Tried to fix it, but the first part I replaced (defrost timer) was not the culprit. So, I bought a new one. Went with a no bells and whistles type. No ice or water through the door, etc.
Long story short, figured out the problem with the old Kenmore (thermostat) replaced it and it’s going strong as my backup fridge.

The Kenmore I bought new in ‘99 quit cooling a few weeks ago. Had to order its replacement, so in the meantime, I monkeyed with trying to fix it. Ordered an $11 thermostat and got it going again.

I bought an LG (without the through the door ice dispenser) to replace this tough old dinosaur.
It has a filtered water dispenser inside the door. Good, so far.

I suggested this earlier as well.

Mine is a two stroke and would pee, but the temperature alarm would sound when it overheated. Upon further inspection, debris from the old impeller was partially blocking the intake port and not allowing enough water to get to the impeller.

Go see a dermatologist. They can prescribe some keto shampoo and a minoxidil compound solution.
