We did what had to be done, end of story. Penn St is a great example of how to not hire a coach in this current CFB world.

I'm pretty sure most of the board hated the idea of what we created with Brian Kelly's insane contract. A few weeks ago, most of us wanted to go a new direction and put an end to massive contracts that aren't incentive based.
Getting all caught up in this Kiffin BS keeps us doing the exact same thing over again. A bidding war that ends in a massive, guaranteed contract in the neighborhood of like 12 mil a year.
I'm a fan of hiring Sumrall for like 6 mil a year(incentive based up to 10 mil) and using about 3-5 mil a year for NIL.

I'm with you. If this leads to cheaper vehicles with no other issues, hell yeah.
I'm thinking maybe this is an effort for car dealerships to keep up with Carmax, Carvana when it comes to used car sales. Last time I traded a vehicle in the dealership couldn't touch what Carmax offered me for it.

Props to you brother for reaching out. Coming from a family with various addiction issues, the worst thing to do is thinking you can handle this alone.
You can't.
This is going to be a long process. If she won't commit to rehab or at a minimum counseling....my advice to you is to have regular meetings with an addiction counselor yourself. To understand how to stand firm and make the right decisions to support her recovery.

Now that I think about it......I'm not sure winning out this season would be a good thing. It would put LSU in a tough predicament explaining why Frank won't be hired as HC. Surely LSU wouldn't be dumbasses and give in to that pressure and hire Frank right? Right??
