I think the writing was on the wall in capital letters when Jay said what he said in that press conference. Dar Dar is an exception obviously.

What I've seen this season, is that he's not very good at the plate, in the field and on the basepath. That's the reason he's not playing.

So what? Skenes did the same thing and LSU fans call him a "true tiger"
The difference is one was dominant in a CWS year and the other sucks in a year where we may not even make the tournament.

I think his time was getting iffy, then when he didn't slide into second on a steal attempt, he slid into the doghouse. You could see Jay was not happy with him.

He’s honestly one of the worst hitters I’ve ever seen at lsu. All you have to do is throw the ball to the outside and he can do NOTHING with it. And he’s always going to swing at it. And he’s not a good enough defensive player to be in for that reason. Give his terrible base running mixed in with a lack of speed, he literally has no good qualities.
