No, that is what you suffer when your top keeps going balls-deep in you.

Nice. It’s always great to be reminded that we have teenagers still on the board lol

female swimmers race in earring too. idk probably doesn’t matter
The difference even 30 ounces makes in the 100m is below the least count of the timers used.
The oddest thing I have seen is women wearing earrings in Women's 7s. While not as bad as 15s the ears are not something I would want to make more vulnerable.

It’s weird how getting second place in the world to Julien Alfred running the fastest time in the world is considered a choke.
Sha’Carri was very inconsistent in 2022, and clearly did poorly after her failed drug test in 2021. However, it’s really stretching to call her 2023 and 2024 performances anything besides top notch.

Quit spending all that time worrying about her fake hair and nails
Black female sprinters have been doing this ever since Flo Jo.
And that was 36 years ago.
Didn't stop her from winning Golds.

To be fair, there’s a bunch on here that think if you don’t win Gold you’re just getting the equivalent of their tee ball participation trophies.
You’re not exactly dealing with high levels of IQ on this one.

You could go even more recent and note her colored hair and fashion nails didn’t stop her from becoming one of the most decorated women’s sprinters of all time.

Maybe she should put the weed down then. Or stop worrying so much about race and politics.

She won a Silver medal.
Y’all out here acting like she didn’t even make a semi.

Not me. I’m glad when the US wins.
Would have been nice if she got the gold. Looked like she’s mentally got something going on.

I wasn’t a sprinter, I ran distance. But sprinters can get nervous about getting off the blocks, not going too soon. And sometimes you just aren’t as fast.
I feel bad for her but being a silver medalist is still a great achievement. I’m sure in her mind she knows she can and has gone faster which I am sure weighs on her.

Yea I love how everyone here is now downplaying the loss and saying it’s not really a big upset while the sports world as a whole is saying this was an upset that “shocked the world”

I mean it’s a big upset in that Alfred has never medaled before but it’s not exactly a big upset that Sha’Carri lost. She’s had issues with her start in other races.
But again, some folks are acting like she’s wasted or washed up because of it. That distance is almost always heavily competitive and can result in some surprises.

Sha’Carri is by no means Michael Phelps. Not even Noah Lyles.
She is a great sprinter and the US women have been the laggards of a very strong team in general for a decade plus.
But her fame is much more larger than her resume.
She’s been at one world championship (where she did great) and this is her first Olympics.
She’s only a huge favorite based on her social media following and endorsements.
