My dads best friend, a POW shot down over German occupied territory. Max Little was shot down Feb 14, 1945. Was the kindest person in the world, had a terrible stutter from being a POW.

If you haven't been to the Grand Canyon you're only 1 1/2 hours away.

Just replaced one last week, actually my wife did. I just had my knee replaced and can't get down under the sink yet. But I walked her through it.

You have to be old to remember this song So the wife and I were driving the other day listening to Sirius radio. A song came on, we both recognized and starting singing. We knew the song by Sly and the Family Stone Thank You. We looked at the radio screen, and thought something was wrong. They must have screwed up the title. It's not what we thought.

Primarily grown on the Pacific Coast is the olallieberry, a cross between a logan berry and a young berry. Depending on the weather it's season is approx 6 - 7 weeks from Memorial day to the 4th of July. It's flavor is like no other.

Don't use your tongue to test if a 9 volt battery is still good.

Close to Yosemite in the California gold country is Railtown. Railtown 1897 State Historic Park and the California State Railroad Museum Foundation are pleased to welcome guests aboard the historic Sierra Railway. Ride behind a historic diesel locomotive on a train trip through the heart of California’s scenic Gold Country. Your 6-mile, 45-minute roundtrip train ride will take you past the water tower from Petticoat Junction and transport you from the backyards of Jamestown to the rugged hillsides of California’s Mother Lode country. After your ride, explore the historic grounds, have a picnic, and spend the day in the beauty of California’s Gold Country.

If you choose the Dodger game over Angels you should try Philippe's. Before a Dodger or USC game the place will be packed.
