Not gonna lie, but back in his reality TV days I couldn't stand him. He was a huge douchebag and had an extremely punchable face. He's come a long way.

Whoa.
I hadn't seen this. Did it drop recently or did I just miss it? Excellent messaging, direct and to the point.

Yes many times

I remember those fires really pissing him off. Rightfully so.

Can they keep the election process secure?
No chance. Only way he wins isa if someone already has their hooks in him and this is all an act.

I'd love to see him win but I'd expect every single unelected person that works for the city government to actively try and sabotage everything he does. They are not going to sit back and let some Republican come in and fix things. Imagine Trump's first term on steroids. Snakes everywhere.

His interview with Adam Carolla was a really good listen.

Apparently, he and his wife sued the City of Los Angeles after the fires.

My family lost our home in Katrina (the house I grew up in - I was 19 at the time) due to the levee failures caused by the incompetent Army Corps of Engineers. When homeowners sued after Katrina, they initially won and then federal courts overturned the ruling saying the government cannot be held liable under the Federal Tort Claims Act. Since the Speidi is suing the city, they won't have the same issue.

The “Laguna Beach” and “The Hills” reality stars, who lost their home in the fire, filed their lawsuit Tuesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court, alleging inverse condemnation — a legal concept that gives property owners compensation for damage caused by public use.
In this case, the reality TV personalities, along with more than 20 other property owners, tenants and individuals who suffered as a result of the Palisades fire, blamed the city and the utility’s operation of its water supply and related infrastructure for causing damage to their properties.

Has a podcast on Rogan. Good listen!
Definitely what they need over there. He may win outright during primary by getting 51%, since the dems are in disarray

this dude wasn't smart enough to acquire homeowners insurance in a brush zone....

Been following him on instagram since shortly after the Palisades fire. He’s been going in hard on Gavin and Karen Bass since then. Would be awesome if he won the Mayor’s race. Not going to hold my breath… but it might be closer than a lot of people think.

I’ve always liked the guy, but anyone that believes in the power of crystals is a bit suspect in the critical thinking department. That said, he seems to sincerely care about the city and its people and that in itself is something.

I lived in LA when Rick Caruso ran for mayor. He was in the lead before midnight on Election Day. ;)

Local election, but a federal agency involved committing mail fraud.

That was good. Can only hope it gets into the right phones to try to open some minds to what is going on.

Insurance is meaningless when local and state government are slow-rolling permitting snd rebuilding.

Notice that they have sued the City of L.A. and not the Federal Government. L.A. is not immune under the Federal Torts Claims Act. It's not a Federal entity. Levee failures were blamed on the Army Corps. L.A. is blamed because of the water situation, having nothing to do with the Feds. Trump offered to help, but they made it clear, they don't want any help.
