Burrow was before NIL. These "agreements" seem to stem from when the NIL era started and maybe not everyone signed the same agreement.

Again, I hadn't heard of this until I was listening to this woman this morning on ESPN radio.

Well, Daniels has sent the letter and is wanting the copy of the Heisman given back to him. I guess we will soon find out. If not, Jayden will be looking really dumb.

Things have changed. 3 letters - NIL. When you played, you got a stipend, but you didn't get NIL money. Again, I'm just learning about this today and it is according to this woman.

I still say in the near future (In about 5 - 10 years) College Football will go back to those days when you played (just scholarships and stipends) and the 4 stars and 5 star athletes will have some sort of "minor league" set up where they make money. That is when these players are going to find out their Name, Image, and Likeness is not worth what they think it is.

These players don't understand that college football fans go to these games because of the university not to see them. People want to see LSU win, not to see if a certain running back ran over 100 yards or a QB that throws over 300 yards.

That crap doesn't matter if LSU loses the damn game.

Right now, these big time players have the big universities behind them. When these spoiled players are in these minor league games, with about 30,000 fans, their NIL won't mean crap. Ask any minor league baseball player how fun the minor leagues are.

Apparently, (according to this woman), all universities have a time limit they can use prior players - name, image, and likeness -- in their advertisements. Until this Jayden thing, all players basically told their schools they can still use their NIL after the agreement expires.

She claims you will see more of this now that the cat is out of the bag. She says Jayden felt disrespected that someone was going to use his number (after saying, the Pickett number change had nothing to do with it). And, that it is not about money.

Basically, said LSU or Lane should have asked Jayden first and should have done whatever Jayden told them to do when asked.

It's going to rain today, tomorrow, and probably Tuesday. But, yeah, we will have a week or so of very hot weather after that.

Looks like we might have a "cold" front around the 24th, but I wouldn't hold my breath on that. Even if it comes through, the highs will probably be 90 instead of 97 for one or two days.

We still have at least one more month before a real cold front comes through.
