Two-leg cup tie. Swansea going through with just a few minutes left of the return leg. Ball goes out of play and the Swansea ball boy was being slow about returning it. The red mist descended on Hazard and that gif resulted. Hazard got sent off. Match ended 0-0 (2-0) and Swansea went on to the Final where they won their first major trophy.

You definitly wont be called a bandwagon fan and for people new to European football you will quickly learn the fear of relegation.

I started a thread a week or so ago about favorite club teams. I mentioned the only European city I've been to so far was The Hague, Netherlands so I wanted to try and follow their team, ADO Den Haag out of the Eredivisie. It isn't easy given the time differences and the language barrier.

With that said I had planned to go to a match if it all possible while in the Hague. The timing didn't work out but they were going to play Swansea. Didn't know shite about soccer, still don't really, but if I had really known about how elite the EPL was I probably would've made more of an effort to go.. even if Swansea isn't an EPL powerhouse.

As it turned out ADO and Swansea have a history of friendship and play in each other in friendlies regularly. This is legitimately available for purchase on the ADO official store.

I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to refer to Swansea as "we" but mind if I get on this bandwagon and see how watching the EPL works out?

im a fake swansea fan still so ill post in this thread like 5-15 times over the course of the season when i catch a match. i feel like that's the requirement to get my fake swansea fan credentials for the next year. im pretty damn confident about avoiding relegation. doesnt seem like it will be that difficult. interested to see what moves are made and how the roster will finally look.

I know there seems to be legitimate concern of relegation from the Swansea faithful on this board but how bad of a sign is it for them to lose to a D2 American soccer team? I understand that it's just a friendly but that can't be good right?

Davies and Vorm to Spurs for Gylfi and £5 million. I like adding Gylfi. Will fill the playmaker role that Pablo will be abandoning. Now defensive midfield and a backup RB are musts.

Meh. Drop Shelvey, push Gylfi there, deGuzman to where Gylfi was, and add a CDM worth a shite then it looks a lot better.
