Carolla strikes me as a middle-class guy who had to actually build up his own resume by being on TV shows, podcasts, etc. I remember he did some short-lived construction project show several years ago.
He's from California, but one of the Californians who actually had to put in work to get his career going and advance it -- and it infuriates him to see what Newscum, Bass and these other folks have done to the state.
