I got to play there this week. The fairways were the best I’ve ever had the opportunity to hit from. The greens were great too. The wind was a bitch though.

Gnats weren’t a problem. They buzzed us on a few holes, but it was fine.

Kiva Dunes later this week.

It’s been a little buggy at times, but they update it frequently and respond when you have issues. I subscribe to their premium plan.

Yeah, it looks like we’re poised for a big drop.

It’s easy. Make sure to pop the plug out for the dishwasher drain port.

Greystone’s greens are very fast again. I guess letting them grow out and slow down was temporary.

It’s perfect. Debit, checks, free wires, etc. no worries about the FDIC limit because they do deposit sweeps. No fees for anything at all, as far as I can tell.
Between $1 and $10,000,000.

I ditched checking a long time ago though. I use a cash management account from Fidelity.

That’s pretty disgusting.

Pretty normal for a masters degree in a STEM field.

This is also very common.

It could be an absolute joke of a degree, but not for the reasons you mentioned.

Oh that’s not as bad as I assumed it would be.

I’m assuming many beginners don’t know about fixing ball marks on the greens. It’s amazing how many unrepaired marks you will find at city. I repaired north of 15 on number two green alone a few days ago.

I think you’re right. I just walk around fixing them when I have time. Probably fixed an average of 10 per hole yesterday.

Played Clark yesterday. The fairways were in good shape. The grounds crew was working to add new sand to the bunkers, so many of them weren’t playable while they were doing that. They have no maintenance day, so it is what it is.

The greens looked pretty decent for that course. They’re also not mowing them quite as short. As a result, they’re filling in nicely and are quite slow. There is still the issue of too many golfers not fixing their divots though, so you have to repair quite a few imperfections before putting.

Greystone was great today.

It does look great, but I just haven’t gotten used to this new speed. I’m used to their old lightning fast greens and now I feel like I have to hit the ball fairly firm.

Not a knock on them at all. I just suck.

I have a 2016 5.7 with around 80k miles. I’m not sure if should keep it forever or sell it while its worth something.

would suggest Peninsula again but when you book the tee time, request to play a different 9 from the first time you played. Because they have 27 holes you would only have to play one 9 twice.

I’m only playing 18. How does that work? Will I be able to know which two courses I’ll be playing ahead of time?
