Of course there is. You put a random vehicle in your LLC’s name for a non-business purpose.

You do you. Personally, I keep business and personal strictly separate in case of a lawsuit or if the tax man comes knocking.

If I were doing fraudulent shite with my business, I definitely wouldn’t post about it here.

ATT. Cell backup scares me because reception in my house isn’t amazing. I’d have to mount something outside or maybe near a window.

I've been considering Mint 5G home internet as a backup option.

Does their device have an ethernet port that I could connect to existing equipment? I can't tell from their website.

I have 1 gig up and down, but I wouldn't need that in a backup situation. 50-100 Mb would be just fine. I'll check out Google. Thanks.

I also looked at Starlink. It's gotten cheaper. There's a $55 monthly option. I really don't want anything mounted to my house though.

This might be the best option for the least amount of hardware. I'd just have to add a line to my phone plan, I think.

Yeah, I used to go all over the place, but that changed a long time ago.

have you considered doing starlink or something along those lines? it could be a good solution for travel and you can set it up at home to be a backup..not sure if there are tiers where you pay by data use but if so that might be a good solution as you wouldn't be paying full price unless you had to fail-over to it.

I've considered it, but I just can't justify the cost. Like I said, ATT has been ultra reliable for me. I just want a cheap backup option, like that $30 Cox cable option. Cell phones work fine while travelling, so that isn't important to me.

WAN Backup Options

I'm considering adding a second internet connection to configure as a failover option on my Ubiquiti gear. I know Cox used to offer a really cheap monthly option, but now it appears limited to poor people or veterans.

I'd like a cheap option. My ATT Fiber has actually never gone down, but I work from home and wouldn't mind a backup. Any recommendations?
Sure, but my wife would be pissed.

Give it time. You’ll get there.

Nope. Crickets as far as I’ve seen.

Surprising little end of day run.
I'm planning to do that also. It's really just to avoid unnecessary risk of sedation, even though I know it's a very minor risk.

Just speculation, I think.

Nothing, just reinforcing that we don’t have many courses.

Clark isn’t in BTR and LSU is closed. BRCC, CCL, and U-club are private and invite only.

You can play golf for pretty cheap. I see guys all the time with hand me down clubs and cheap balls, but they’re still enjoying themselves.

It’s like anything else. You can spend as much as you want.

I’m pretty sure that’s wrong, even if you’re counting the fully private courses.

I lean the same way, but I also think it could be nice to pay it off, which would enable you to seriously reduce your monthly income. That might allow more room for Roth conversions.
