All you ever see are attack adds against Flemming and Letlow... Funny how you never see attack adds against the scumbag...

Cassidy claims he doesn't endorse any of those attack ads, but you can bet your arse, his money is 100% behind them...

Frick him...

My family, and extended family are voting for Fleming. If for some reason he doesn't make it, I will be voting for anyone but Cassidy in the runoff or general.

It’s Letlow mostly. Fleming has called her out for the outright lies from her pac’s.

Which means Landry. Landry and Fleming hate each other. Letlow is the proxy.

I can believe Landry/Letlow doing this thinking they have a better shot at Cassidy in the general.

Huey P wants to control that Senate seat very badly. Very curious why he's so invested in it.

I understand it's not unusual for a Governor of a state to weigh in on a U.S. Congressional or Senate race in his/her own state. However, there seems to be much more vested interest from the Governor's mansion in this specific slot, to the point that the Chief of Staff left his position with the Administration to run Letlow's campaign. And former Rep. Emerson, who was previously in the Senate race "waiting" for Letlow to enter, dropped out almost immediately upon Letlow's announcement and was named the new Chief of Staff.

I just can't remember the last time a Louisiana Governor (going to back to Foster) seemed to have this much activity circulating around a U.S. Senate race.

I have to think both Letlow and Fleming would rather face Cassidy in a closed GOP primary runoff rather than each other. Cassidy's numbers, if the polls are to be believe, are outright HORRIBLE for an incumbent going into his party's primary. I don't see a path for him surviving into the General, regardless if he'd be up against Fleming or Letlow.

Meanwhile, Fleming vs. Letlow in such a runoff could be a toss-up. That's why I'd think either one of those challengers would have to feel pretty good if they end up going against Cassidy. Sure...Cassidy camp will have the money to barrage them with negative ad after negative ad, but I think enough Louisiana Republican voters are at the point that they just want Cassidy out of that Senate seat, regardless who the other Republican candidate may be.

This is copying the Warren J. 'Puggy' Moity strategy. John and Bob are running for La. Senate. John would pay Puggy to enter the race and run ads saying stuff like: "I'm not gonna say that Bob is a homosexual. I'm above that." People voted for John because Puggy was playing dirty and Bob might be gay.

Jeff Landry and Julia Letlow are partners in campaign dishonesty. They have now spent over $10 million in special interest dark money attacking John Fleming

Jeff Landry and Julia Letlow are partners in campaign dishonesty. They have now spent over $10 million in special interest dark money attacking John Fleming with ads that are 100% lies because he consistently leads Letlow in the polls. They represent the worst of Washington Swamp creatures.

John Fleming is not, nor ever has been:
? In support of Carbon Sequestration
? A lobbyist for Big Pharma or a foreign country.
? Supported or voted for open borders
? Supported or voted for illegal immigration
? A Never Trumper

These are the facts:
? Fleming worked as Trump's Deputy Chief of Staff
? Fleming is the most conservative candidate
? Fleming is the only military veteran in this race
? Fleming is not a lobbyist

Wouldn’t say that just Fleming disagrees with Landry and won’t be swayed by trial lawyers or any other money group.

Same here but I’d wager he’s been offered stuff from Thune to help like maybe future support for the senate seat after governor terms are exhausted. Landry helped get Trump to make a deal/agree with Thune to endorse Letlow as a compromise since he obviously refused to endorse Cassidy. If you remember Letlow had to be pushed to run. She doesn’t want to be in office at all. She’s a yes ma’am for her husband’s country club GOP types as evidenced by her speaking engagements/ voting record and a place holder until Landry wants it. Pretty cushy retirement for Landry at that point. I was told this by a big money guy from O&G I do work for. He also told me we’d hire Will Wade 6 months before it happened so I trust him to get it close to right. He knows and likes Fleming but has been hounded to throw money at Letlow a lot. To clarify he told me the part about Trump compromising with Thune to endorse Letlow as fact and was guessing about Landry doing it for a future senate seat.

Landry and the rinos blocked Fleming from speaking with Trump so he wouldn’t endorse Fleming. I hope he comes out and says he likes both at the least.

So, Landry probably has his trial lawyer buddies cutting big checks for it.
