Our one big weakness, though, is our women, who are the ones that really started nerfing kids stuff, bike helmets, play dates, no more dodge ball, etc.

These "generations" are 15 years each. Thats such a huge span. Calling someone born in '82 a millenial is crazy to me.

Probably because they grow up in the country still run by boomers with a very little hope for financial success. They have become disillusioned with the American dream.

They raised children who can’t read, can’t have conversations, have high rates of anxiety and other mental health issues, etc.

I'm Gen X and my kid is Gen Alpha.. skipped over the other two.. but admittedly I got a late start to fatherhood. And I'm tail end of Gen X.

Gen x was the last of the real kids.
I got nothing against boomers either. Those were the last generation of real real men and the woman sticking to the marriage no matter what. Everthing after that no comment.
