LSU and Alabama released their initial injury report Wednesday night ahead of Saturday's matchup in Tiger Stadium.

The biggest takeaway for LSU is that linebacker Whit Weeks is listed as doubtful, a potentially encouraging sign as he works his way back from a fractured leg suffered against Texas A&M on September 26.

Weeks has missed LSU's last four games, and while his status remains uncertain for Saturday, the doubtful designation suggests he is making progress toward a return.

His brother, linebacker Zach Weeks, is listed as questionable, while defensive tackle Richard Anderson has been ruled out.

Alabama has several notable players listed as questionable, including wide receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams, running backs AK Dear and EJ Crowell, and defensive back Zabien Brown.

The Crimson Tide have four players ruled out, while quarterback Jett Thomalla is listed as doubtful.
