re: This Masters will be looked back on as the end of LIV
Posted by slidingstop on 4/15/26 at 4:49 pm to Tiger1242
Not to hurt your feelings, but dont you think this is all just a coincidence? Doubt the Masters had any effect on whatever LIV does or is doing.
LIV has been a nonfactor long before this Masters. And I'm sure the Saudis made the decision to cut funding before Master's week.

Are you confusing the Sunshine Bridge with the Audubon Bridge in New Roads?
Or was there a TIMED package back in 1960?

There is no way the consumers won't get royally fricked in some fashion when all is said and done. I don't care what Entergy, Meta, or any government agency says.

I'm going with Old Tom Morris.
If Rory wins an Open with a mashie, I may change my mind.

they have a point here.
You could put the fountain of youth downtown and it wouldn't matter. The thugs would piss in it. As long as you allow the thug/homeless element to exist in the area nothing will succeed. And BR shows no indication or seriously addressing that issue.

The comparison to a nude beach is likely spot on. Those who are the absolute last anyone needs to see naked, will be the first to shed their clothes.

LOL. You think these are humans. These are all aliens from other planets who returned home to their original galaxies. Its just like in the movie "Men in Black". The aliens live among us and are helping us with the technological developments. Then they leave and the government covers it all up.

Maybe they are trying to attract a higher end clientele than the regular Swisher Sweet and Courvoisier crowd.
Would you try to appeal to the lowest common denominator gas station customer or hope to attract one that won't shop lift or fuel up and drive off?

couldn't we say the same about Nicolaus or any other older former champions?
And no, I doubt he could've made it through Thursday let alone to the cut. He's got some serious issues for a course like Augusta.

There was no such thing as a "helicopter parent" or Life360. The freedom and autonomy as kid pre- early 2000s is something I think younger generations badly need.
