England played like they didn't have the talent to control the ball and burn some clock with at least some light attacking possession. In reality, they had Argentina on the ropes and probably could have put them away at 2-0 if they continued attacking. I don't know a lot about the game, but Argentina and France are two teams I wouldn't have employed the "park the bus" tactic against. Just way too many good looks are gonna develop with the way those teams control the ball.

100% agree. They are sleeping on these facts. Really think about how that 2011 D performed against what was a two time, and eventually 3/4 National Championship team who didn't allow OUR offense beyond the 50 yd line. To hold them to 7 field goals in 7 quarters is still one of the greatest defensive performances I've ever seen. Special teams would play a factor. The game would be much closer than most think.
