I think we struggle again to run the ball and contain Chambliss. They have some busts that keep us in the game and we win a heartbreaker on the last drive.

More likely the defensive pressure will affect both qb s. Both qbs will have less than there best game as LSUs defense will cause Chambliss problems. My guess is he will complete a few passes though that we weren’t expecting on our defense. Likewise I believe Sam will struggle again with throwing the ball and likely will have an interception or two. Ole Miss will play to stop the run.and to contain Sam. In the end Sam will break loose and complete some passes The red zone will be an issue for both teams and the score will be lower than all expect. In the end it will be the broken plays for long yard that make the diffrence and I like LSU to win with both teams looking less like champions. My hope is that LSU puts it all together this week and looks more like game 1 offense.

If the defense continues to play as well as they have, then I don’t think Ole Miss will have much success moving the ball.

From what I have seen to date (from both teams), our front 6 (DL/LB) has a chance to really impact this game and give OM fits. Play upfield and tackle well.
On the back end I think B Baker wants to go man to man on the outside to free up Spears and Benefield more to keep an eye on Chambliss & keep him from running (and moving the chains) on key downs/distances. Our CB's must be up to the task. They are going to take some shots downfield; we need to be running stride for stride with them.
At the end of the night I think our DEF is the best unit on the field between both teams and is a HUGE part of us winning this game.

LSU Defense doesn't over pursue the qb through 2 games and plays with gap discipline. Ole Miss will not run wild.
LSU Offense gains a lot of yards and is positioned to score a lot through 2 games. They have played reckless but absolutely will not take opportunities to score for granted in the first half.

I honestly think LSU is a better team across the board. Ole Miss has a better quarterback and running back. Can they beat us? Yes. Should they beat us? No.

Going to be a struggle in my opinion. I think it will be close and very hard fought. Weird things likely to happen. We are not as good as we all thought after Clemson. Lots of offensive weaknesses exposed by LA Tech. Lane needs to have them ready for this one. And on the defensive side it will be a stern test, the first one this season. We’ll know how good they are after this game.

It was only a 5 point game last year at their house, against their best team in ages and our dysfunctional offense with BK on the sideline. I like our chances.

For the life of me I can't see this game being a shoot out. I don't see the game being that high scoring and if it is that high scoring it does not favor us.
I really like our defense but they have the better QB and HB and have the game at home. I really see this being a 24-20, 24-17 type of game. If Ole Miss scores 30+ points I don't like our chances. Chambliss excels in those games. Gotta keep it low scoring.
