Lane Kiffin hasn’t second-guessed his decision to take the LSU job.

During an appearance on the Brandon Walker College Football Show, Kiffin was asked whether the job has matched his expectations eight games into his first season.

“Yeah, and even more,” Kiffin said. “I’ve never thought twice about this decision, just from getting here and seeing.”

Kiffin pointed to Tiger Stadium’s atmosphere, the support for football throughout Louisiana, and the talent within the state as reasons for his confidence.

“When you play at home here and the stadium and the environment and the state and the people and how much support there is for football,” Kiffin said. “And then the kids in the state and how they play and how they love football.”

He also expressed optimism about LSU’s future after navigating a challenging transition, with coaches going back and forth while finishing their previous responsibilities at Ole Miss and learning LSU’s returning roster.

“So as crazy as it sounds, we will always have better rosters than we do this year,” Kiffin said.
