we learned that we can lose to mcneese on a tuesday night in the box.

Yep, especially when you walk 6 and hit 5 mcneese batters.....
Clean it up boys.

"Whats more important with both of these guys(gestures at Schmidt and Curiel) is to say 'Im going to college'. Because plenty of these guys that you never hear of, they take the 2 million bucks and nobody ever hears of them again. With these guys, they are now 2 of the premier players in college baseball at the best program in college baseball. And they're going to have long careers after LSU because of how well they are developing here. and also becoming even better people than they are players. and i'm honored to coach them while I can."

We are damn lucky to have CJJ leading our program.

Seeing our oline starters is the 1st thing that I'll be observing.

IF this group comes together it will set the conditions for a complete OFF capable of pounding the rock AND protecting our QB so he can deliver the ball on time to a dynamic group or WRs and arguably the best pass-catching TE in college football.

STRONG lineup with Braun looking to be inserted when/where CJJ desires.

As a team, 17% from 3pt land & 61% from the charity stripe is not going to get it done. I do give them credit for keeping it that close and competitive with those shooting stats. Okot was killing us on the glass. They should have worked harder to get her 5th and sent her to the bench.

IF this team plays a complete game they can make a run in March.

he wasnt great in the fall or spring though. he should be fine in the long run but he wasnt great this past off season

Fair point, I too saw some of those fall/spring stat lines. You always hear teams make great strides between their first and second games. I believe the same can be said about starting pitchers. He and Yeskie will make some adjustments.
Going with Jake "from State Farm". Cool, calm contributor who will flip one out.

You know it. Can't wait to see the pullover & visor on OUR sideline this season. It's going to be fun to watch.

Man if Schmidt can stay steady and keep improving, we’re gonna be so hard to beat in Omaha

No doubt! He is a huge piece of our pitching staff. IF he can just be consistent pounding the zone, he'll be tough to take out of the game.

Not going to happen. I am just happy if they recite the Pledge of Allegiance.

Agreed. I would like to think the pledge is something we ALL have in common and binds us.

I met him last year at the Zurich Classic, he didn't seem like a jerk. Took some time to talk and take a picture with me.

Seems like a pretty down to earth guy. He shared a nice story around the 20-21 min mark about 'what he wanted to be' and how it shaped him today.

It sounds like he believes in a strong OL position group. Personally, I would like to see us go WR and/or DT/DE early and grab a good RB in the 3d. Add a quality OG or OT (plug & play) via FA, amongst other adds, and let's go win the NFC South in 26.
FWIW we did a 529 in NC via Alliance Bernstein and it worked very well. A superb rate of return, and flexibility for employment (tuition, books/supplies, rent, etc.). No issues withdrawing funds as needed.

I do not like the idea of law enforcement shooting someone just because they have a gun on them. If there is an incident and my shirt comes up and they just shoot because they see my gun, that's not right.

SPOT FKING on. Training is clearly lacking, and they wonder why some of them come under intense scrutiny?

I read Bacchus is already trying to steal him. There is no official word if his assistants will stay at Endymion or flip to Bacchus. Kiffin is reportedly making a move to get the top floats and bands in Endymion to go with him to Bacchus. It’s all Finebaum is talking about.

Josh Pate is reporting don't rule out Orpheus. He further stated Harry Connick Jr was personally flying in for a visit and was not going to take no for an answer....
