The OL this year wasn't much worse than the one in 2019 when we had the GOAT QB and an aggressive offensive mentality. This year we had a timid QB that held the ball too damn long and a shitty predictable offensive philosophy. The OL didn't stand a chance. Lucky for us we should be getting that offensive swag back and I don't think Kiffin will tolerate poor QB play.
Saban was kind of an unknown. There were other well known names being tossed around. I used to sit next to the Evil Twins in the SE corner of the stadium, and one game they put up a paper banner that said "Hire Erickson" meaning Dennis Erickson who coached Miami at the time I believe. Dinardo hadn't been fired yet. It was clearly visible to the press box and Dinardo himself but only took security about about 10 milliseconds to rip it down.LOL
