BK didn’t need to play Boosie to win. He just needed to be invested, which he wasn’t. I bet you Curt Cignetti would win at LSU and he wouldn’t do it this way. Each coach has their own style. This is Lane’s style, and it works for him. I do think the culture stuff is overrated. Just be good at your job and win. Then LSU will take care of itself.

Based on my math we have had 68 innings at the plate. Assuming that’s correct we are averaging 1.42 runs per inning. Not to mention that Jay has played around with the lineup a lot at the end of some of these games.

Pretty … pretty … pretty good.

It’s all relative. NC State has never had real success in football. Basketball is always going to be the bid dog on campus.

Sorry to tell you but all religion stories are largely made up. I know that’s hard to deal with.

Islam… made up. Hinduism … made up. Buddhism … made up. And yes … Christianity … made up.

I’m sure you can explain to me that Christianity just happens to be the one that got it right and I’m headed to the made up place you call hell.

I’m also sure that your beliefs have nothing to do with the fact that you happened to be born into a Christian society. No doubt you would have found your way to the “real Jesus” even if you had been born in Saudi.

FYI … I believe there is something bigger out there. But the chance that any one society developed the correct religion is basically 0.0.
I told me it couldn’t answer with a yes or no. Said it’s a personal judgement.
First time I’ve heard this play-by-play guy. I really like him. Sounds very clean.
Must be so liberating as a league’s executive to say “I don’t give a shite what my athletes say.”

Also, for people saying this was contrived… I don’t think so. This was just Sean Strickland being Sean Strickland.

I’m not sure where you are, but in any publicly listed company, the CEO having sex with an executive assistant will get them terminated with cause. It will also pretty much preclude them from holding a c-suite position at any other publicly traded firm.

Top that off with the tawdriness of the fact that it was a threesome with his wife eating his cum out of another woman’s vagina, and the fact that it might come to light she was a prostitute.

My only argument for it not being a big deal is the fact that he’s probably headed to prison for fraud anyway.

FYI … The character of Whitney is directly drawn from the real life person …Jan Marsalek.

In fact, the entire story of Tender is largely ripped from the real life story of Wirecard, a German payment processing company that was setting up fake subsidiaries in Asia.

There is a very good book called Money Men about it written by a reporter from the Financial Times who covered it. He’s a lot like the reporter in this season, except he didn’t die. He did get temporarily suspended.

It’s not the child abuse that’s going to get it. It’s essentially insider trading.

Such an underrated movie
The bank that loaned my money for my first house offer us a 2% cash back for letting them handle our escrow. It was a mess. Ever since then I’ve always paid my own taxes and insurance.
I agree with this 1000%. There’s all kinds of stuff that requires a script that is unnecessary.

My wife works in the corporate bureaucratic jungle. I don’t know how you people do it with all of these meetings and calls. It really is meetings to have meetings to then “circle back” to meetings. And while everyone is pretending to “move the needle” no one is actually doing anything.

I walk by her office in our house and think Jesus fricking Christ, thank God I don’t do that.

This is one of the most underrated lines in the Wire. It stuck with me forever.
My dad sent me one from Meche’s in Lafayette. It’s delicious.

It’s a crapshoot as to how they turn out with shipping. One year the icing had melted in the package into one blob of grey.
