USA...take note

It won’t work. The grifters will sue the administration and the appears court will grant them a stay and force the funding back. Just look at the shenanigans from the doge work.
Ah yes, another cubbies thread where she reminds us she didn’t pass high school civics.

This. Most of the guys that played this week won’t be playing week 1. But this is your depth. And it’s not great.

If we can somehow keep starters healthy I think this year will be much improved from last year. But I don’t think we’re ready to compete for a division title.
If I was listening to the Rams radio broadcast I’d be upset. But on a national broadcast. Oh my gentle Jesus.

If Clempson is as weak as everyone is saying, then LSU should be up 50-0 at the half and dominate them from start to finish. Which would be a welcome change from the last 4 years. I don’t care if we play little sisters of the poor. I just want to see them dominate lesser opponents instead of struggling with execution.

These look like Hahnville’s uniforms. That’s a hard nope.

Good. Good.

So let’s win 50-0. Run them out of the stadium.

idk if i have ever seen a player burn a bridge like this to his former school

The US Space and Rocket Center posted that they were changing the name of the Saturn V to the Saturn VI out of respect for Jayden Daniels wishes.

Freaking Space Camp is trolling this.
I must be lucky. The union craft I work with have all been pretty great. Never had issues with protecting poor performers.
I had a former coworker tell me this:
“Never argue with a fool. Eventually the people watching the argument won’t be able to tell which one of you is the fool.”

mean, not a fan of the guy either, but he's got a point. Thanking the NG for protecting the streets after she complained about them being there and even went as far as to say they didnt help prevent crime is pretty on par for New Orleans politics.

This. Landry has done some stupid stuff. This wasn’t one of them. I wish they’d expand this.

Scratch that. I wish they would force the leaders in this state to start fixing this bullshite.

Same. We just moved here. Did open house the other day. I was very impressed. Campus and academics and the interactions we’ve had with faculty this far have been fantastic.

What I really like is the amount of leadership opportunities they seem to promote. Lots of upper class men interacting and mentoring underclassmen. That’s awesome and real life skills for these kids. Best decision we’ve made as a family by far.
Rant [ON]\OFF

I’m so fricking sick of hearing about this. It’s all over social media. All these memes about how it’s completely okay for women to remove physical intimacy from relationships because men don’t do fill in the blank. And it’s always the same conditions that men need to do or change. Conditions that need to be met before those poor pitiful ladies can find the fortitude to have sex with their husbands.

I’m sick of it. And it’s fricking all over the place. It’s all excuses. Fatigue, kids, job, perimenopause, menopause, stress, anxiety, etc, etc, etc. It’s completely socially acceptable for women to nope out of a relationship.

I don’t know where we are going right now, but it’s not good.

It’s been the law for 30ish years. But the truck don’t follow it because LSP never spends any time, you know…

2002-2013 was the dark ages of logos, absolutely horrendous cartoonish wimpy tiger

It’s the one thing I hate about my class ring. I’ve thought about getting it remade.

I think the current updated helmet tiger is really great. I’m also partial to Sailor Mike.
My go to rods are a Shimano Stradic 3000 on a Waterloo Salinity rod, and I have a Penn Battle 3 (2500) on a Waterloo Phantom. Both 7’, both MH. I also have a 2500 Stradic on a 7’ M Castaway Skeleton. I typically tie one MH with a popping cork and weightless hook, one MH with a bottom rig, and the M pole with jig head to throw Matrix plastics.

You cannot go wrong with a Penn rig. I’ve caught many Snapper on my FiLs boat with a Penn Fierce combo, and those Battles are bulletproof.
I have a 10/22. I also have a savage MkII bolt gun with a threaded barrel. I have my suppressor on that.

With CCI Suppressor ammo, it’s Hollywood quiet. The first time I shot it I thought the round was a dud.

My advice is do that. My 10/22 with federal autoloader ammo and a vortex Diamondback rimfire will bore you shooting out the center of a target at 100yds. I also remounted it on a Magpul Hunter stock. It’s a fantastic rifle.

But that savage suppressed is absurd. I have a MDT stock coming to put on it. There are better rifles, but for $299 that’s absurd value.

He’s done more that that.

IIRC, the founders of Turner, Performance, and Shaw all graduated LSU in the same class and same major.

The article said at one school they stopped 38 vehicles and issued 117 tickets------------so the cops obviously found more things not right during their investigation---------no insurance, outdated licenses, equipment violations, seatbelt violation, etc.

But nothing happens. Nothing. There’s no consequences. My wife and kids got sideswiped on 55 two years ago. Wife was approaching the 55/12 interchange and moved over to the left hand lane approaching the cloverleaf to allow people taking the interchange to merge. Lady came flying around the12E to 55N leg, crossed over the right lane into the left and rammed the right side of my wife’s car. She never even slowed down and fled the scene. Thankfully some folks got the license plate and called 911. There are still good people in this world. Troopers showed up to get the info and check on my family. They had the license plate and address of the lady that caused the accident.

She had no insurance. Nothing happened. Hit and run, no insurance. Nothing happened. I had to pay my deductible and they had to do over $12k in repairs to my wife’s car and I had a rental for 3 weeks. I can go on my app right now and pull up the claim and see the lady’s name, and address. She wasn’t arrested, literally nothing happened.

I drove 12 from Hammond to BR for years. Cell phones are definitely an issue, but the biggest problem is the insane amount of truck traffic. The number of times you get stuck behind a truck driving 68 in the left passing a truck driving 65 in the left is absurd. It takes miles to pass, it causes traffic to back up, and as soon as they move to the left it’s like a mad dash to try to get past the trucks before one gets over again. If you pay attention to opposite traffic direction you can see it all the time. Base traffic, a gap, then two trucks next to each other and cars piled in behind for miles.
ChatGPT. Lots of stuff. Does photo editing absurdly well. So well that I dropped my Lightroom subscription.

I used it to do memes and recaps for my fantasy football league last year which were absurdly funny.

I’m about to start a little investing experiment. Not with real money, but I’m going to throw $100 at it and have it tell me what to do with it.
