Oh okay. I thought I read Ellen Page was playing Odysseus. It’s Matt Damon.

New girl drummer is good. She of course sounds different on some stuff. Nothing against her, I just selfishly want Neil and no one else.

She’s fine and really talented. I just don’t think most people appreciate how ridiculous Neil was. Watched a video of him playing Tom Sawyer and how effortlessly he makes that track look is absurd.

And yet it will rise the next day based on “demand.”

Didn't Cypress Bend almost get to goat ranch status a few years ago. What happened? Change of ownership?

Yes and they fully renovated it. It’s primo.

It’s such a good layout too. Back nine takes driver out of your hands for a bunch of holes.
We just sold our home and moved to an area that doesn’t require private school. Took my equity and we’re just going to site tight for a little while.
My normal rotation is independence day, the patriot, and Patton
I mean, he’s not wrong. There have been some suspect trends over the past few months. Every town has the cheap stations and the expensive stations. When all the stations are at the same price, it’s sketchy.

I predict after this weekend suddenly prices will be below $3 all over the place.

Just a good assortment of M224A1, M252A1, and M120A1 mortars would have done the trick.

Same thing I was thinking. Years ago I walked the battlefield. Can’t imagine what Pickett thought he was going to accomplish.

Gettysburg was such an interesting battle and having seen the landscape makes it even more compelling. Had Lee taken the high ground, different story. I’ve wondered how different the battle would’ve gone had Jackson still been alive.

1 person with modern rifles and optics behind high cover could easily be worth 200 opponents marching in infantry columns across a distant open ground with muskets you cant fire but a couple to three times a minute.

Especially against a foe wholly unfamiliar with the concept of people dropping dead and hearing a crack of the sound barrier. Entire officers corps conducting the order of battle falling off horses. They would take cover, it would do no good. The lines would break. It would be as if the hand of God were striking them down.

Let’s not even get into night combat behind NODs with suppressed weapons.
I have the LCP Max. As others have said, you aren’t carrying an assault with the pistol and you damn sure aren’t Annie Oakley. But it’s tiny and it fits in the pocket.

I’m on something like year 15 without tickets.

Gavin isn't perfect but he would be a VAST improvement over the current incompetence. So would Kamala, my choice in 24.

Oh my gentle Jesus.
I’ve been to both. For me, Wrigley > Fenway. Both were cool as hell and just oozed nostalgia.

I guess I felt like this: Wrigley is a place that still wants to be a ballpark. Fenway is a place that has to be a ballpark.
For you, the day Bison came to your village was the most important day of your life. For me, it was a Tuesday.
My parents convinced my brother and I that the dishwasher used too much electricity so we could only use it occasionally
I had the Mac-10 one. If I’m remembering correctly did they not also have a grenade water balloon filler that looked like a plunger detonator?

BTW, the Super Soaker 50 was better than these in every way possible. As a matter of fact, it is still the greatest water gun ever invented. I was very disappointed when they released the anniversary edition that was a SS50 in appearance only.

I can skip a spinning reel. Not very good with a bait caster

Equipment matters, don’t let anyone try to tell you otherwise. You aren’t skipping senkos with a $33 academy h20 express baitcaster.

Yeah, and not in a bad part of town. Chick-fil-A is right down the road.

Hammond is having issues right now and no one in town is talking about it.
I’m actually glad we are selling. Getting a decent amount of equity out of the property and are going to rent for a little while. I’ll probably buy a lot in a year and just sit on it for right now to try to let the prices come down.
I’ve shared this story before. I saw Up way after the fact. I took my daughter to my parents to spend the night to get out of the house cause we were doing something with them the next morning. Think we were tagging Christmas Trees and my wife was out of town. We were struggling financially at the time and really challenged to try to move forward with our lives. My parents put on Up, I’d never seen it. After the opening, I had to leave the room. I lost it. The whole thing of trying to save up, putting things off, and then losing the person you want to share things with was very, very real.

I was messed up for a while after that. My mine went back to it every time we had a setback, every time we put off something.

Even now I still think about it. We just did a Disney trip with the kids and spent way too much money, and I started to protest and say we should wait til next year. But my daughter starts high school next year, and before I blink she’ll be in college, then out of the house and on her own. My son is at such an awesome age too. Those are core memories I’ll never have again
