I might be in the minority but I really like the remake with Michael Douglas and Albert Brooks.

Most likely this. It’s still a good opportunity for him to go through the interview process though - as long as he doesn’t become the next Rooney default interviewee like Bieniemy was.

I don’t think he’s ready yet, but I feel like he’s going to get that chance eventually. Hope he uses it to prep for when he’s serious.
So if you are the ceo of a company and your company falls apart, do the shareholders fire all the employees first?

Well, F=MxA. So for a car at constant velocity (0 acceleration) the force would = the mass. Multiply by distance and that gives you work.

Either fricking way, a car hitting a person is a big fricking deal

I am going to ask this and im not being a dick so what?

Not a dick question at all, as long as he was inside the home. Now outside in the front yard? Different discussion.

But hoss, you break into my house, armed, at night, and come face to face with 5000 candles of light off the end of an AR and realize you chose poorly and turn and run? Hollow points work just as good from the rear, and you lost your right for fair when you chose to put my family in danger.
I drove this stretch daily for almost ten years. I can say specifically and without bias that 18 wheeler traffic is the cause of the road issues on that stretch. And it’s been that way for a long time.

It’s so bad that I couldn’t use cruise control in the days before adaptive cruise control. Big rigs impeding traffic in the left lane or slow passing causes stack ups. People get frustrated and start passing in the right or weaving trying to gain position. As soon as the truck pulls in the right lane, it’s like a nascar green flag restart of people trying to get past the truck before they inevitably get back in the left. It’s not uncommon to have a truck start passing at Walker and not overtake until Holden.

LSP are hardly ever there. And they don’t police this at all. Not condoning drivers behavior, but having lived this stretch for many years I completely get it.

Oil field firecrews working around the world seems like it would write itself.

I saw the one where the oilfield crews had to fly into space and blow up an asteroid. That was pretty good.
Believe it or not, most Latino people I know that are here legally are very Catholic and very conservative.
Is this set after TNG? Because Worf was the fist Klingon to attend the academy. And be damned if they frick with Worf.
Nick Freitas is a baw. Good dude that spouts a ton of common sense. Virginia is lucky to have him.

You’re just trying to do everything you can to make these dreams come true for your child,” Rector said. “But it’s just so money-driven.”

That’s the problem. Most of these “select” leagues are just pay to play money making schemes. Gulf Shores must have 16 “World Series” tourneys each summer.

Most of those kids don’t “love” the game either. It’s just an activity.

Would Cam play on a one year $12m fully guaranteed deal? Maybe throw in some incentives?

You know the difference between Elon Musk and Sidney Powell / Rudy Guilani?

Elon has frick you money. Elon bought Twitter because reasons. No one else can come close to that. That’s the main difference.

We Need A Uniform Refresh

Gayle. You have a solid QB, a young coach that seems to have the team headed in the right direction, and a desperate need to generate some buzz going into the 2026 season. It’s time to update the unis

Doesn’t have to be exactly this, but some close version. Enough to be throwback but with a new fresh look.

Shough, didn't like the pick at all. He's already contributed more than I thought as a starter and has at least done enough to justify not using a high pick in a weak class.

Might be the single most important thing for this franchise for the next 5 years. We are in desperate need of playmakers. With QB not one of them, that moves up your timeline considerably.
What’s really hilarious was this was the whatabout talking point the left used after Charlie Kirk was killed.

Oh how the turntables.

China and Russia are well aware of American military capabilities.

Well, to be fair, Caracas had an air defense network that was supposed to be the pinnacle of eastern bloc tech designed specifically to counter American Air Power. And we just wasted it like it wasn’t even there.

Maybe those shitty F-35s are a bit better than we’re giving them credit for.

And I promise you the eastern bloc nations are paying attention.

What term would you use to describe Spetsnaz taking Trump from US soil and bringing him to Moscow for trial? I'll use that term for you from now on.

A fools errand? Act of War?

I’d say surely you can understand the difference between removing Maduro, a dictator that refused to vacate office when he lost his primary and election and is responsible for a ton of drugs entering the United States, and President Trump. But you won’t.

We can’t coexist with you people.

When I deer hunt, I hunt nearly 100% public in SELA, and the etiquette/woodsmanship among deer hunters where I hunt is fantastic as I am surrounded by "old men" who have hunted the property since long before it was even a federal area and simply respect each other.

If you don’t mind me asking, where are you hunting? I’ve hunted Sandy Hollow and Hutchinson Creek for years and have never had any luck. HC is small and supposed to be archery only, which is pretty much all I hunt anyways.

As far as woodsmanship goes I agree with the sentiment. I remember a few years ago before I started using a saddle I was sitting on this clearing and heard noise coming. Went on for several mins. Ended up being two kids with cross bows. I heard them for almost 5 mins before they passed. Sad part was they never even noticed me.
