re: Now it get’s worse

Yep. He is definitely less than smart.
I don’t think it’s any mystery-

1 he was never really as good as we were lead to believe
2 the offensive line was terrible.
3 his injuries were possibly worse than we thought, (or at least had more effect than we were told)
4. Coaching and play calling was bad.

Governor is sabotaging LSU football and you almost wonder if it’s intentional,
that’s giving him WAAAY too much credit. The man is clueless.

No they wont lol. As long as LSU as resources in place and boosters willing to support the program, the new coach won't care what happened under the previous regime.
I hope you’re right but I’m afraid you’re not.
Yep- not going to get anyone in the upper tier to come here now. Good luck.

I voted for Landry
shame on you

Nuss is the Most Vilified Player in LSU History
No. he is not.
lol, doesn’t matter at this point- we are still likely losing 1/2 more regardless of his state of mind. And even if he’s all fired up his play won’t be much better as his abilities are quite limited.
Look him up on Wikipedia,
And that may just do it.

if Nuss rushes for 100 yards I’ll eat my shoe! Maybe both of them!
That was kind and classy of him. He didn’t have to write that.

Brian Kelly.
would be a great fit

Plus he bombed out with BK and kept folks like Torina employed too long.
no mention of McMahon?

They’ll publicly go after Cignetti, Lanning and Ryan Day. Of course when those turn up empty, it will be one of the following:
lol! They are not going after Day! Nor Cignetti for that matter. They may try Lanning but he’s definitely not coming to LSU.

Just prepare to be disappointed.

dont love nuss
I definitely don’t love him as a player and team leader. Not after seeing what he’s done/hasn’t done on the field. His abilities/talent appears limited plus I don’t see evidence of having what it takes between the ears, personality wise. He kinda comes across as a used car salesman when talking about football. I’m sure he’s a stand up kid and very smart otherwise.
A team that looks like they care and are competing to the best of their ability. And to not lose by more than 30.

re: What's your logical Saban take?

Why would he come to LSU? If you still don’t know why after all the stories that’s been told about Sabans connection and love for LSU to this day and his regrets of leaving LSU then we can’t help you.
ok, let me re-phrase the question: “why would he come out of retirement at this point to come to LSU?”. I know it’s well documented that he may regret leaving LSU and he enjoyed his time here and has connections, etc. but it still wouldn’t explain to me why he would come out of retirement and come coach here or anywhere for that matter. I know he doesn’t regret his time at Bama, at all and he doesn’t regret retiring when he did, and he clearly doesn’t need money, so my original question is still valid.
